The participants of the Everything for Victory! Forum observed a moment of silence to honour twice Hero of the Russian Federation Major General Mikhail Gudkov, who was killed in action in the special military operation zone, as well as his brothers-in-arms and all Russia's warriors who died in battle for the Motherland.

Today, the President signed a decree awarding Mikhail Gudkov a second title of Hero of the Russian Federation posthumously.

Vladimir Putin present awards to winners of the Everything for Victory! Prize

The President presented commemorative statuettes to the Maliy family, hailing from the Donetsk People's Republic, the chief designer of the Russian Dome JSC Ivan Soldatov, and the leading figure behind the Sewing Troops of Russia organisation Olga Yazeva.

Established by the Russian Popular Front in 2024 on the President's instruction, the Everything for Victory! Prize is a grassroots award recognising the efforts of volunteers who provide aid for participants in the special military operation and their families, as well as residents of Russia's new regions and border territories.

Vladimir Putin presented a Gold Star Medal to Zhanna Gudkova, widow of Hero of Russia, Major General Mikhail Gudkov

Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Mikhail Gudkov, who was killed in action on July 2 in the special military operation zone, was posthumously awarded a second title of Hero of the Russian Federation, which comes with a Gold Star medal.
