The President of Russia's visit to Belarus is over
On June 28, which marks Youth Day, the President will take part, via videoconference, in the opening ceremony for new youth centres to be put into operation in six of Russia's regions and will speak with representatives of youth organisations

The meeting will also focus on this year's Youth Day festivals which will have Omsk and Perm as principal venues. The two cities have been elected the Youth Capitals of Russia last year at the Time of the Young contest.

Vladimir Putin took part, via videoconference, in an opening ceremony for youth centres across Russia. The event was timed to coincide with Youth Day

The Khabarovsk Territory, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area, the Arkhangelsk Region, Dagestan, Karachay-Cherkessia, and the Kherson Region were on the line with the President.

I would like to extend special greetings to young people who are doing their duty in the special military operation zone. <...> I think it is crucial that we actively involve such people in mentoring younger generations, so that youngsters can see actual role models to look up to.

Vladimir Putin held a meeting on the social and economic development of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions

The social and economic development programme for the historical territories comprises about 300 action items, with 41 federal agencies, 26 state companies, and 82 sponsor regions involved in total. Smooth, methodical work is being done across all areas. Since 2022, nearly 23,000 facilities have been built or restored in the new territories.

During the meeting, Vladimir Putin took part in the opening ceremonies for a number of social facilities in the new regions.

The new regions boast immense economic potential

The industrial, agricultural, logistical, and economic capabilities of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, as well as the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, are vast and substantial. <…> At this new stage, we must fully unlock and realise this enormous potential, ensure a powerful economic revival and growth in our historical regions, strengthen their financial foundations, and enhance their self-sufficiency. We have all the necessary resources and opportunities to achieve this. Most importantly, people must see tangible improvements so they can return home, work, study, raise children, and plan their future on their native soil.

On July 2, Vladimir Putin will hold talks in Moscow with President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, who will be in Russia on an official visit

The leaders are to discuss pressing matters pertaining to the further development of the strategic partnership and allied relationship between Russia and Kyrgyzstan in politics, trade and economy, and cultural and humanitarian affairs.
The President has approved a list of instructions following the June 4, 2025 meeting with members of the Government of the Russian Federation
On July 2, Vladimir Putin will hold a videoconference meeting with Government members

The discussion will focus on the development of Russia's core airport network. Minister of Transport Roman Starovoit will present a report.
