🔸The two leaders discussed a number of practical issues of bilateral cooperation as it pertains to the preparations for the upcoming state visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Russia.

🔸Both sides reiterated their willingness to further strengthen the strategic partnership and allied relationship between Russia and Kazakhstan and to continue steadily implementing joint projects in trade and economy, as well as cultural and humanitarian affairs.

🔹Pressing bilateral matters, including the promotion of major joint projects in trade and investment as well as energy, were discussed. Both sides acknowledged the growth of bilateral trade. In addition, they expressed satisfaction with the close practical cooperation between several key agencies of both countries.

🔹The leaders confirmed their willingness to further strengthen the allied relationship between Russia and Uzbekistan and agreed to maintain contact.

🔸During the phone call, Vladimir Putin thanked President Rahmon for his hospitality and the warm welcome during the President of Russia's state visit to Tajikistan. The Russian leader also took note of how well organised both recent events in Dushanbe were, including the second Russia–Central Asia summit and the CIS Heads of State Council meeting.

🔸The two leaders praised their bilateral talks as constructive and substantive. The decisions made, as well as the large package of documents signed will undoubtedly give new momentum to the development of the strategic partnership and allied relationship between Russia and Tajikistan.
On October 15, Vladimir Putin will hold talks with President of the Syrian Arab Republic Ahmed al-Sharaa, who will be in Russia on a working visit

The leaders intend to discuss the current state and future prospects of Russia-Syria ties in politics, trade and economy, and cultural and humanitarian affairs, as well as the recent developments in the Middle East.
On October 16, Vladimir Putin will attend the plenary session of the 8th Russian Energy Week International Forum

The central theme of this year's edition of the forum is 'Building the Energy of the Future Together.' The participants will include statesmen, energy executives, experts, and researchers. The official programme of REW 2025 includes over 60 events.

The President held a meeting with Government members to discuss road construction

At the outset of the meeting, the President extended greetings to transport industry staff on the coming professional holidays, namely, Road Worker Day and Motor and Public Passenger Transport Worker Day.

The quality of life of our citizens as well as the development of trade ties, modern logistics infrastructure, tourism, industry, business, and all our cities and communities — in short, of all our country —depend on reliable and uninterrupted transportation.


Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin delivered the main report. In addition, a number of pressing issues were discussed:
🔹Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin reported on the start of the heating season and the country's utilities readiness for the coming winter;
🔹 Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Alexei Chekunkov briefed the meeting on the progress of supplying essential goods to Russia's northern territories;
🔹Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut gave details on this year's harvesting campaign and efforts to ensure Russia's food security.

During the meeting, an opening ceremony for a number of newly build roadway facilities in several of Russia's regions was held via videoconference. In particular, a pass over the Ob River opened in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area — Yugra, a new section of the R-239 Kazan–Orenburg motorway was inaugurated in Tatarstan, while in Karelia, the section of the A-215 motorway linking the region to the Leningrad and Vologda regions was reopened after major repairs.

In the EU itself, we see diminishing industrial outputs, rising prices owing to more expensive oil and gas coming from beyond the ocean, as well as lower competitiveness of the European goods and the European economy as a whole.

By the end of 2025, Russia will have extracted 510 million tonnes of oil, accounting for about 10 percent of the global oil production, Vladimir Putin emphasised in his address to the plenary session of the Russian Energy Week International Forum

It is about one percent lower than last year, but I would like to draw attention to the fact that we are doing that in conformity with the OPEC Plus agreements, which means that it is a voluntary cut.
