The purpose of the competition is supporting promising, fast-growing Russian companies that have earned the trust of consumers and have a high proportion of local content in their production lines.
The competition is held by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Roscongress Foundation, with support from VEB.RF.

In particular, the President was shown clothes from the Linen & Family and Lory tots family-run brands, as well as goods made by the INCRUA company, which is a producer of hand-made interior design items, and the Antikhrupkost brand, which specialises in porcelain products.
Moscow's INVENTORIUS showcased its analytical platform based on the Nikola AI, designed for searching and analysing scientific and technological data around the world.
Other brands that demonstrated their goods included Amarion, Econade, WaybotRobotics, Dikaya Sibir, Lapochka Drinks, De_Code, and Weiss.

The President of Russia will attend an exhibition showcasing the results of the Russian Popular Front's efforts over the past three years, held under the motto of "Everything for Victory!" and will take part in a ceremony to present awards recognising efforts to provide aid to participants in the special military operation, their families, and civilians residing in Russia's new regions and border territories.
Later in the day, Vladimir Putin will take part, via videoconference, in the main plenary session of the 17th BRICS summit, hosted by Brazil in Rio de Janeiro.
During the session, which will focus on peace and security, as well as the reforming of global governance institutions, the BRICS leaders will discuss prospects for further political, economic, and cultural cooperation within the organisation, and exchange views on some of the most pressing international issues. A final declaration is to be adopted at the conclusion of the event.
