Reboot of ATU XI - THE LUST
This is my rendition of the Tarot Major Arcana XI - Lust. It draws inspiration from Thoth Tarot Deck, Ancient Egyptian iconography of Zodiacal decans, Tantric Paintings and Thelemic Philosophy. While Sun was going through Chnoubis decan this year I was struck with an inspiration to redraw Lust card from scratch which is highly inspired by Tantric paintings and rendition of this card by Lon Milo DuQuette. I can't say I was or am totally agreeable with that inspiration, because the result seems too much.. But I live it now as it is and I am about to continue the work on this deck. I am not sure if I will include this version into the final deck, or will stick with the first one.
Nevertheless, with this Autumn Equinox I release this image outside my Patreon.
