▫️The aim of the course is to introduce students to theory and application of spatial econometrics methods in the area of health economics.
In this course, students will familiarize with spatial econometric models in health economics and illustrate how to incorporate spatial effects using standard econometric models, such as the spatial lag, spatial error and spatial Durbin models. The lecturers will show how spatial econometrics methods can be applied within the health economics literature on topics such as hospital competition, mental health expenditure, health outcomes, long-term care, and peer effects.
The target of students will be master degree students, PhD, post doc, and early career researchers.
