Update on the Treasury Grants for Affected Users of the KyberSwap Exploit

Previously, we announced that we would be extending a grant to each affected user of the exploit. We are currently finalizing the details of these treasury grants and will announce them on 20 December 2023 at 14:00 UTC. We apologize for this delay, and appreciate your understanding and patience while we ensure we do the best we can for our users.

In the meantime, we have created a Snapshot page to allow affected users to view the USD value of their affected positions, including fees, across all chains, as recorded one block prior to the exploit.

To check the USD value of your affected LP positions, simply connect your wallet and select [Snapshot] under the [Earn] tab. Alternatively, you can access the Snapshot page directly with this link: https://kyberswap.com/elastic-snapshot

For those whose wallets remain unaffected, a message will be displayed confirming your positions were not compromised.

Update to the Treasury Grant Program Timeline for KyberSwap Elastic Exploit Affected Users

The Treasury Grant UI is currently undergoing final internal testing, and the associated smart contracts are undergoing a comprehensive audit. However, in our commitment to ensuring a thorough and accurate process, we find it necessary to extend the Treasury Grant Program timeline for Affected User next steps. The updated timeline, also now reflected in the original announcement, is as follows:

January 19, 2024 - 14:00 UTC:
"Treasury Grant UI" Launch: Affected Users can complete the zk KYC verification process. Qualified Affected Users can select options to receive a Treasury Grant.

January 31, 2024 - 14:00 UTC:
Option Selection Deadline: Affected Users must complete the zk KYC process, and upon successful completion, select a Treasury Grant option, by this date.

February 6, 2024 - 14:00 UTC:
As per the initial schedule, Grant distributions are still set to begin vesting from February 1, 2024 - 14:00 UTC. However, the Grant Terms and Claim function will not be accessible on the Treasury Grant UI until February 6 - 14:00 UTC.

Since KIP-28 has been approved by the DAO, the team has set up a Limit Order for $mKNC → $KNC conversion on Arbitrum & Optimism and $mKNC → $axlKNC on Avalanche & Fantom. Users can now swap it on https://kyberswap.com/swap/.

Since $axlKNC is not liquid on Avalanche & Fantom, holders have 2 options to swap it to native $KNC:

1️⃣ Bridge $axlKNC using https://app.squidrouter.com/ from any chain to Ethereum to receive 1:1 native $KNC.
2️⃣ Bridge $axlKNC using https://app.squidrouter.com/ from any chain to Polygon and swap it to $KNC, depending on market rates. Be mindful that rates are not necessarily always 1:1 on Polygon, so check the rates before swapping.

The Limit Order will be opened for 2 months, up to 18/03/2024

Reminder that $mKNC affected users can convert 1:1 their assets to $KNC or $axlKNC.

The Limit Order ends 18th of March, users have less than one month left for conversion.

Only 23% has been converted so far, any $mKNC held after 18th of March will no longer be convertible.

The deadline for Batch 2 Affected Users to complete zkKYC has been extended to March 13 - 14:00 UTC.

The Treasury Grant claim date for Batch 2 Affected Users has been updated to March 20 - 14:00 UTC.

Batch 2 includes:
• Type 1. Third Party Affected Users of DappOS, Pendle, Magpie/Penpie and Equilibria (and also Tetu, as of March 6)
• Type 2. Affected Users with Multisig/AA/Safe/Other Contract Affected Addresses
• Type 3. Normal cases of Affected Users who missed the January 31 deadline
