Happy Thanksgiving to my flock in Canada!
As we celebrate the bountiful harvest of the earth this day, we are reminded that God “established the earth; he did not create it empty, he formed it to be inhabited” (Is. 45:18). From the Arctic Circle to the Atlantic Coast, from the Prairies of the West to the lowland forests of the East, the Lord has arranged our environment so that mankind can survive and prosper. All things were made by him so that, enjoying these earthly blessings, man—and through man, every creature—might come to know and to thank the One in whom all things live and move and have their being. ...
