With the spirit of making a new phase of cooperation between the two institutions, Addis Ababa Science & Technology University (AASTU) and Sichuan College of Architectural Technology (SCAT), Chinese institute, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) this morning. The agreement focuses on collaboration of teaching and research staff exchange, establish overseas faculty workshop, organization of joint academic activities and exchange of academic materials.

Training Provided for Students on Online Learning Platforms November 19, 2025
The Directorate of E-Learning at Addis Ababa Science and Technology University (AASTU) organized a training session aimed at helping students successfully participate in the Online Learning Success Suite courses. The training focused on how to register, navigate, and effectively use the online learning platforms.
The Student Success Suite, offered by Arizona State University, consists of seven online courses designed to be completed within one month. These courses introduce students to essential digital and programming skills, supporting AASTU’s mission to produce technologically competent graduates.

ስለ ጡት ካንሰር የቅድመ ጥንቃቄ እና መከላከል የግንዛቤ ማሳደጊያ ስልጠና ተሰጠ

በዩኒቨርሲቲው ለሚገኙ ሴት ሰራተኞች ስለ ጡት ካንሰር ምንነት፤ አጋላጭ ምክንያቶች ፤ የቅድመ መከላከል ዘዴዎችን በተመለከተ የግንዛቤ ማስጨበጫ ስልጠና ተሰጠ፡፡ ስልጠናውን ከማቲያስ ወንዱ የኢትዮጵያ ካንሰር ሶሳይቲ እና ንጋት የጡት ካንሰር ድጋፍ ማህበር የመጡ ባለሙያዎች ሰጥተዋል፡፡
በስልጠናው የጡት ካንሰር በአብዛኛው ሴቶች ላይ የሚከሰት አልፎ አልፎ ወንዶችም ላይም ሊከሰት እንደሚችል የገለፁት ባለሙያዎች ነገር ግን በሽታው የሚድን እንደመሆኑ አስቀድሞ በመከላከል እና ከተከሰተም ፈጥኖ ወደ ህክምና በመሄድ መዳን እንደሚቻል ገልፀዋል፡፡
በመሆኑም ሴቶች ስፖርታዊ እንቅስቃሴዎችን በማድረግ ፤ጤናማ አመጋገብ በመመገብ እንዲሁም መጠጥ ባለመጠጣት እና ሲጋራ ባለ ማጨስ መከላከል እንደሚቻል ገልፀዋል፡፡ ሲከሰትም ራስን በመመርመር በማወቅ ፈጥኖ ወደ ህክምና መሄድ እንደሚያስፈልግ ገልፀዋል፡፡
ከንጋት የጡት ካንሰር ድጋፍ ማህበር የመጡ በሽታው ተከስቶባቸው በህክምና የዳኑ ሴቶች በስልጠናው ላይ ስለ በሽታው የነበራቸውን ልምድ አካፍለዋል፡፡

የአዲስ አበባ ሳይንስናቴክኖሎጂ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ሰራተኞች እና ተማሪዎች ንቁ እና ጤናማ እንዲሆኑ ለማስቻል የማህበር አቀፍ ስፖርት ስራ አስጀመረ፡፡
ስፖርት ሰራኞችን እና ተማሪዎችን ጤናማ እና በስራቸው ውጤታማ እንዲሆኑ ከማስቻል ባለፈ ምቹ የስራ አካባቢን እንደሚፈጥር የተገለፀ ሲሆን ይህ መልካም ልምድ እንደ ተቋም ሁሉንም ሰራተኞች እና ተማሪዎች ያሳተፈ እንደሚሆን ተገልጿል፡፡
የማህበረሰብ አቀፍ ስፖርት እንቅስቃሴ በዩኒቨርሲቲው በማህበራዊ እና ስነ-ሰብዕ ኮሌጅ ውስጥ በሚገኙ የስፖርት መምህራን እንደሚሰጥ ተገልጿል፡፡
በማስጀመሪያ መርሐ-ግብሩ ላይ የስነ-ሰብዕ ትምህርቶች ክፍል ሃላፊ ዶ/ር ፈጠነ ጌታው እና የማህበረሰብ አሳታፊነት ዳይሬክተር ዶ/ር ቀናቱ አንጋሳ ተገኝተው አስጀምረዋል፡፡
የስፖርታዊ እንቅስቃሴው በሳምንት ሶስት ቀናት የሚካሄድ ሲሆን
ቅዳሜ ከጠዋት 12፡30- 1፡30 ሰዓት
ሰኞ እና ረቡዕ ምሽት ከ11፡00-12፡00 ሰዓት የሚካሄድ እንደሆነ ተመላክቷል፡፡
ስልጠናው አካላዊ፣ ስነ-ልቦናዊ እንዲሁም ማህበራዊ አንድነትን በማጠናከር ጤናችንን የምንጠብቅበት መልካም እድል መሆኑ ተሳታፊዎች ገልፀዋል፡፡
