The Community Engagement Directorate in collaboration with the Research and Technology Transfer Coordination Office of the College of Engineering, successfully conducted a half-day special session titled “Behind the Grant: Experience Sharing for Female Researchers”.
This enriching event, led by Dr. Henock Woldemichael, brought together female researchers to explore personal experiences, insights into grant processes, and strategies for developing successful research proposals. The session provided valuable knowledge and inspiration, empowering participants to strengthen their research capacity and competitiveness in grant applications.

AASTU and Commercial Nominees Sign MoU to Expand Strategic Collaboration, 29th Jan, 2026.
Addis Ababa Science and Technology University (AASTU) and Commercial Nominees (CN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) this morning aimed at expanding and formalizing their strategic collaboration. The agreement establishes a structured collaborative framework to support institutional capacity building, human capital development, digital transformation and emerging technologies, governance enhancement, and applied research.
Commercial Nominees, which has already been providing asset management services to AASTU, will further broaden its engagement with the university under the new agreement to include technical and development initiatives, as well as IT solutions.

በጅማ ዩኒቨርሲቲ አስተናጋጅነት እየተካሄደ በሚገኘው የዩኒቨርሲቲ ተማሪዎች የስፖርት ፌስቲቫል ላይ እየተሳተፈ የሚገኘው የአዲስ አበባ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የልዑካን ቡድን ከስፖርታዊ ውድድሮች በዘለለ የሁለቱ ዩኒቨርሲቲዎችን ግንኙነት የሚያጠናክሩ በጎ ፈቃድ ስራዎች ላይ እየተሳተፈ ይገኛል፡፡
በዚህም ስፖርታዊ ውድድሮች የሚካሄድባቸውን ሜዳዎች ምቹ በማድረግ አርዓያነት ያለው ስራዎችን እየሰራ ይገኛል፡፡
የስፖርት ልዑካን ቡድኑ በዝናብ ምክንያት ውሃ ያቆሩ ቦታዎችን በማዳረቅ እና የሩጫ ሜዳ መስመሮችን በማስመር መልካም ስራዎችን ሰርቷል፡፡
የስፖርት ልዑካን ቡድን መሪ የሆኑት ዶ/ር ሰለሞን ተስፋዬ የአዲስ አበባ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ውድድሮችን በስፖርታዊ ጨዋነት በተላበሰ መልኩ እያካሄደ እንደሚገኝ ገልፀው ከውድድሮች በአለፈ በጎ ፈቃድ ስራዎች ላይ በመሳተፍ ስራዎችን መስራት እንደሚቀጥል ጨምረው ገልፀዋል፡፡
