20ኛው የኢትዮጵያ ብሄሮች ፤ብሄረሰቦች እና ህዝቦች ቀን በአዲስ አበባ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ተከበረ

የኢትዮጵያ ብሄሮች ፤ብሄረሰቦች እና ህዝቦች ቀን በየአመቱ ህዳር 29 በሃገር አቀፍ ደረጃ ይከበራል፡፡ ከዚህ ጋር ተያይዞ አዲስ አበባ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ለ20ኛ ጊዜ የሚከበረውን የ2018 ዓ.ም የኢትዮጵ ብሄሮች ፤ብሄረሰቦች እና ህዝቦች ቀን በተለያዩ መርሐ-ግብሮች አክብሯል፡፡ “ዲሞክራሲያዊ መግባባት ለህብረብሄራዊ አንድነት” በሚል መሪ ቃል የተከበረው የ20ኛ የብሄሮች፤ብሄረሰቦች እና ህዝቦች ቀን የዩኒቨርሲቲው ሰራተኞች ፤ተማሪዎች እና ከፍተኛ አመራሮች በተገኙበት ተከብሯል፡፡
መርሐ-ግብሩን ዶ/ር አብረሃም ደበበ የዩኒቨርሲቲው የምርምርና ቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግር ም/ፕሬዝዳንት በይፋ ያስጀመሩ ሲሆን ኢትዮጵያ ብዙ ብሄረሰቦች የሚገኙባት ሃገር እንደመሆኗ አንዱ ከሌላው የሚያደርገው መስተጋብር ለልማት እና እድገት መልካም አጋጣሚ መሆኑን ገልፀዋል፡፡ ብዝሃነት መልካም እድል መሆኑን በመግለፅ በዲሞክራሲያዊ መግባበት ህብረ ብሄራዊ አንድነትን ለማስጠበቅ ሁሉም የበኩሉን ማድረግ እንደሚገባ አሳስበዋል ፡፡
በሌላ በኩል ዶ/ር ማናዬ ዘገየ በአዲስ አበባ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የህግና ሰብዓዊ መብቶች ምሁር ስለ ዴሞክራሲ ፤የፌደራል ስርዓት በኢትዮጵያ፤ ተስፋዎቹ እና ተግዳሮቶች በሚል ርዕሰ ጉዳይ የውይይት ሃሳብ በማቅረብ ውይይት ተካሂዷል፡፡
በመጨረሻም ዶ/ር ደረጀ እንግዳ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕሬዝዳንት 20ኛው የብሄሮች ፤ብሄረሰቦች እና ህዝቦች ቀን የማጠቃላያ መልዕክት አስተላልፈዋል፡፡ በዚህም ተግዳሮቶችን በመለየት ከሚያጋጩን ይልቅ የሚያቀራርቡን እና አንድነታችንን በሚያጠናክሩ ዕሴቶች ላይ ማተኮር እንደሚገባ አሳስበዋል፡፡

መርሐ-ግብሩን ዶ/ር አብረሃም ደበበ የዩኒቨርሲቲው የምርምርና ቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግር ም/ፕሬዝዳንት በይፋ ያስጀመሩ ሲሆን ኢትዮጵያ ብዙ ብሄረሰቦች የሚገኙባት ሃገር እንደመሆኗ አንዱ ከሌላው የሚያደርገው መስተጋብር ለልማት እና እድገት መልካም አጋጣሚ መሆኑን ገልፀዋል፡፡ ብዝሃነት መልካም እድል መሆኑን በመግለፅ በዲሞክራሲያዊ መግባበት ህብረ ብሄራዊ አንድነትን ለማስጠበቅ ሁሉም የበኩሉን ማድረግ እንደሚገባ አሳስበዋል ፡፡
በሌላ በኩል ዶ/ር ማናዬ ዘገየ በአዲስ አበባ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የህግና ሰብዓዊ መብቶች ምሁር ስለ ዴሞክራሲ ፤የፌደራል ስርዓት በኢትዮጵያ፤ ተስፋዎቹ እና ተግዳሮቶች በሚል ርዕሰ ጉዳይ የውይይት ሃሳብ በማቅረብ ውይይት ተካሂዷል፡፡
በመጨረሻም ዶ/ር ደረጀ እንግዳ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕሬዝዳንት 20ኛው የብሄሮች ፤ብሄረሰቦች እና ህዝቦች ቀን የማጠቃላያ መልዕክት አስተላልፈዋል፡፡ በዚህም ተግዳሮቶችን በመለየት ከሚያጋጩን ይልቅ የሚያቀራርቡን እና አንድነታችንን በሚያጠናክሩ ዕሴቶች ላይ ማተኮር እንደሚገባ አሳስበዋል፡፡

The Ethiopian–Norwegian Network in Computational Mathematics (ENNCoMat), hosted by Addis Ababa Science and Technology University (AASTU), has successfully concluded its two-weeks long international workshop, which brought together mathematicians and computational scientists from overseas and from universities across Ethiopia.
The workshop was jointly organized by Hawassa University’s College of Natural and Computational Sciences (CNCS), Department of Mathematics, and the AASTU High-Performance Computing (HPC) & Big Data Analytics Center of Excellence.
The workshop, designed to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry, focused on applying advanced computational and mathematical modeling techniques to address real-world industrial challenges.

Addis Ababa Science and Technology University has welcomed a new group of international students from Somaliland, Puntland, and South Sudan. The event took place on campus in the presence of the University President, Dr. Dereje Engida, other responsible office holders and Students’ union representatives.
Dr. Dereje noted that AASTU is internationally recognized for its accredited programs. He said students who join the university earn degrees accepted worldwide. He encouraged the newcomers to work hard in their studies and take part in extracurricular activities to build soft skills. He also reminded them to return home after graduation and help address the needs of their countries.
During the orientation, students received key information on academic programs, enrollment and registrar guidelines, campus life, and support services. They also oriented about how the Academic Affairs Office assists international students.
