“Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people.” ~ Eleanor Roosevelt

May you always know there is a lot you could learn from people and through the events you live by, each day every day, if you let yourselve, of course.

As you relax over the weekends having lunch, dinner, few drinks, a machiato, a movie or a walk with friends, family or your loved ones try to make use of the worth in your time together. Talk about ideas, talk about life changing events and how you could be of worth to change your life and the lives of others.

Always remember this, you are the average of the six people around you. Who do you have by your corner? Who do you spend your worthy time with? As much as you want to be the star and sunshine to those around you, make sure you surround yourself with people who are better than you as well.

A gratifyingly inspiring day for you.

Better Your Best

“There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.”
― Ernest Hemingway

One of the big things I have learned in life and that I still challenge myself to practice everyday is to never be in competition with others but myself only. However the acts and deeds of others teach me a lot and inspire me for better, I know that it, by no means, should be used as a base for an egoistic competition but as a school for wisdom. I have grown to know that by every new day I am blessed with I am given another opportunity to better my best, to outwit my former self and to bring out the best in me. I know I am not better than anyone and I am not perfect in most of my deeds. But I am more empowered to be a lot better and more sharpened through the encounters I have and the events I live by than the day before. I also know that we could all change our life and transcend the limitations that are inhibiting us from living our dreams. So lets learn to live life with a personality that is tamed with an attitude to do much lesser judging both others and our own capacity but a lot more of understanding of potentials and possibilities. Let’s have a willing heart that is ready to surrender to kindness and goodness than being enslaved to one’s ego and a soul that is always grateful of life and its givings.

My fondest wish for you is that your every new day be a day you start competing with your ownself than others, a day to shrug off whatever is holding you back from what you want to achieve and learn from your past flaws and be inspired by your kind deeds. And may you also have the courage to better your best achievements on your everyday.

Assume yourself as an amazing work of art, beautiful enough to be inspired by and yet magnificent enough that with a little more touch it can be more glorified.

“No matter who you are, no matter what you did, no matter where you’ve come from, you can always change, become a better version of yourself.” ― Madonna

May you have a blessed Friday and a rewarding weekend ahead filled with gratifying experiences and humbling encounters to better your best version of you.

A Note to the Inner-Self

Dear me,

“Habits are powerful, but delicate. They can emerge outside our consciousness, or can be deliberately designed. Habits often occur without our permission, but can be reshaped by fiddling with their parts. They shape our lives far more than we realize—they are so strong, in fact, that they cause our brains to cling to them at the exclusion of all else, including common sense.” – Charles Duhigg

Do mind your consistent actions - whether you find yourself engaged in them unknowingly or purposely invest your time on. Because your actions define you more than what you think who you are.

A Note to the Egoistic Self

Dear me,

The worst form of addiction in life is the obsession we have to our ego and self importance, to who we are and what we have done. We are so much engrossed in ‘I know it all’, ‘I am always right’ and ‘Mine is always the best way’ kind of mentality. We worry by far more whether others have conformed to our ways or have endorsed our ideologies. We are so enslaved to our ego and the good opinions of others that we spend majority of our time making sure people notice us and accept us. If you check how we act on social Medias such as this it would show you much clearly. We spend much time checking who liked, commented on or shared the status updates we post, the picture we have shared or the opinions and causes we advocate. It is more of ‘I’, ‘Me’ and ‘Mine’ kind of mentality than what is out there I could learn from others.

So, dear me, please do always be reminded of the wise words of Lao Tzu on The Toa Te Ching that stated on Verse 36, “The gentle outlasts the strong, the obscure out powers the obvious.” On your everyday try to become a little more obscure, a little less interfering and a little less ‘Notice me’ kind of person. It is wise to be free from the bad opinions of others but the truest wisdom is to be free from the good opinions of others and to be free from the egoistic mentality that seeks the approval of others of you and your actions.

May you have a rewarding Monday and a New Week filled with gratifying experiences and humbling encounters that brings the best out of you!

Each day, we have the opportunity to be better than our Yesterdays. As our current state is a result of the continuous decisions we have made in the past, the more conscious we are about our habits, we will be in a better position to charter a better future for ourselves.

A Note to the Inner-self

Dear me,

Say Thank you!

Say thank you for all the blessings you have in your life. But do also say thank you for the challenging and tough moments you pass through as they sharpen and bring the best out of you.

Say thank you for all the wonderful people who have walked in to your life and decided to stay. But never fail to say thank you for those who stayed a bit and walked out, with each person you learn something, either they have left an inspiration or a lesson.

Say thank you for all the great opportunities you have been granted as they bring you more success. But never forget to say thank you for the missed chances, they have all made you sharp and savvy to learn from them.

Say thank you for all the things you have made right and rejoiced life with. But do also praise the mistakes you have made as each one of them have brought lessons to you.

Say thank you for the grace of this beautiful life you are living. But do not forget to say thank you for all the things you have passed through in the past. Each of the things you have done and the roads you have taken have let you be where you are now.

Say thank you for the kind of person you are today. But never ever forget to say thank you for your past self. Because all you are now is a result of what you were.

Thank you, thank you thank you!

A Note to the Inner-self

Dear me,

What is the one thing that you are not happy with yourself and want to change, something you always promise yourself to do so but fail more often and blame nature, life or others for your failures? It's never never too late to start over. If you weren't happy with how you were yesterday, try something different not tomorrow, not later on, not next week or year but today. Don't stay stuck and don't procrastinate for some time in the future to bring the change. Don't be a person who just plans rather be a person who plans and commits to the plan.

The ideal time to bring the change you crave for is at your hand. Do better and seek to be the better version of yourself on your every new day.

Happy New day!

Goals don’t change your life.

Habits do!

As James Clear said:
"You do not rise to the level of your goals.
You fall to the level of your systems."

We don’t need sharper goals.
We need steadier habits, done daily.

That’s how real identity change happens:
You stop chasing milestones.
You start embodying the person who achieves them.

“Focus on what you can control

Let go of what you can’t

Life throws us curveballs.
Some we expect, many we don’t.

This year has been one of those chapters.
It’s hard. But I’m learning something powerful:

You can’t control the outcome.
You can only control your response.

1/ Your mindset
2/ Your boundaries
3/ Who and what you give your energy to

When we focus on things outside our control - like other people’s opinions, mistakes from the past, or “what ifs” about the future - it drains us.
But when we stay present, and take care of our words, our energy and ourselves, we find power again.

↳ It doesn’t mean life gets easier
↳ It means we get stronger

Stress, worry, and fear feed off our focus.
So redirect it.

We can do this.
We can ask for help.
And we can move forward - one choice at a time.” Jen Blandos
