📷 Like many people these days, I was addicted to Instagram and endless scrolling. Doomscrolling started to affect my academic performance, so I decided to take action.

🔴 What did I do? I deactivated my Instagram account—but didn’t uninstall the app though.

Did it help? Definitely, but...


👍 I created a new account, this time following organizations instead of individuals. I still used Instagram to watch reels but only volleyball-related ones.


➡️ So, what were the results? I spent 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 since I wasn’t constantly comparing myself to others, and 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 to focus on my work because reels weren’t draining my energy anymore.
