I’ve been re-reading the Heartstrikers series by Rachel Aaron, which is a) an urban fantasy series b) with dragons c) and very little romance and also d) self published.

It’s fun, snappy, colorful and very clearly self pub in a way that is mostly really good, even if of course not perfect, especially the later books.

But I’ll this: this serie would have been so much better if it had more lesbians.
