Are there any early Bitcoin whales still active on Reddit?

I'm curious to connect with people who were early adopters of Bitcoin (2009–2011). Whether you mined it back then, bought when it was under $1, or just held through the chaos — I’d love to hear how your journey went and what advice you'd give to someone starting from scratch today.

Bitcoin Holding Strong Around $107K — Calm Before a Bigger Move?

Bitcoin’s been chilling in the $106K–108K range this week, and while it might look a bit slow, a lot is going on under the surface.

Fed Chair Powell made headlines saying crypto is “becoming much more mainstream” in his Senate testimony, and Bitcoin jumped shortly after. That kind of acknowledgement from the top is not nothing, it adds legitimacy and might even smooth the path for better regulation down the road.

From the chart side:

We’re holding above the 50-day moving average.
A bullish engulfing candle just showed up on the daily chart; historically, that’s been a strong sign for upward momentum.
Some analysts are eyeing a potential breakout if BTC can get above $110K–112K cleanly.

But it’s not all moon talk. There’s still a bit of caution in the air — a few people are watching for a possible double top, and geopolitical stuff (like the U.S.–Iran tensions) has added noise to the markets. So far, though, Bitcoin’s bounced back quickly from those dips.

On-chain, big wallets are quietly stacking sats while some retail folks take profits. Feels like a classic accumulation phase, maybe prepping for a bigger leg up?

TL;DR:

BTC is steady, not boring.
Fundamentals are quietly turning more bullish.
A break above $112K could mean fireworks, but a drop below $105K would be worth watching too.

Are we just in a healthy consolidation before the next move, or does this feel more like a pause before a deeper correction?

What’s your take?

Now, in China, you need a permit from police to withdraw large amount of cash from your bank account. China is pushing people to use digital yuan, which is designed to increase the government's powers of surveillance and control.

Would you buy bitcoin if you had the money?

Here's the deal.

What if you had a loan of 25k EUR with 0% interest with a monthly payment of 150 EUR would you put that in bitcoin?

I'm a bit hesitant, this is 2 years of my wage but at the same time 150 EUR in 10 years of 20 will be an even smaller amount in terms of purchasing power.

Would you?
Should I?

UK banks making barriers to Bitcoin even harder

So tried to buy some bitcoin today. The bank blocked my account and said to contact them. Spent over 30minutes waiting, got speaking to someone who took me through a list of questions and then asked if I had ever borrowed money to buy cryptocurrency. I advised no and they said good as it is illegal to borrow money to buy crypto in the UK, I have never heard of this before and searches brings up nothing saying it's illegal. Has anyone in UK been told this before. Anyway after about 40minutes my account was unblocked so payment could be made but was advised I could not buy anymore crypto this month
