Bitcoin Dips Below $110K as Traders Brace for Volatility Amid U.S.-China Trade Tensions

Bitcoin briefly fell below $110,000 today are we seeing the start of a bigger correction? Traders are ramping up hedging strategies as U.S.-China trade tensions escalate, but how much further could this dip go?

Options data shows a surge in puts at key support levels between $104K and $108K is the market signaling more downside ahead, or just a short-term scare?

Earlier this month, geopolitical and economic shocks triggered one of the largest crypto sell-offs in history, wiping out billions could history repeat itself, or is Bitcoin about to rebound stronger than ever?

Now a Whole Coiner

I’ve finally did it. As of today, Oct 17, 2025, I am officially a whole coiner. This just feels like a big personal accomplishment. It also gives me this sense of “relief” that I’m finally able to achieve this personal goal. No one can predict what will happen in the future, but I’m highly confident in BTC’s future and that owning BTC is one of the best life choices I’ve made. For me, it’s partly about building generational wealth. Whatever short-term market volatility is just noise. I’m looking at the big picture. My BTC is secured with a cold wallet with my seed phrase etched in steel plate and stored in a vault. Now to slowly work on accumulating a second coin…

Anyway, if you’re reading this post, thank you for reading. No one, except for my wife, is aware of my BTC (and I’ll keep it that way). So, I just wanted to share this happy personal moment at least anonymously. Cheers!

Peeps, just calm the F.....down, this is absolutely a storm in a teacup

Got in about roundabout US$5000 a few years ago. Bought a few, Up to nearly 20k down to 3k, Been hodling ever since. Just put it away in a dusty corner of a hard wallet and retrieve you BTC in a a few years time. I am over 60, if I can wait, and my time is a lot shorter than most of you, so can you.

I have seen it before and i know this is happening right now . People are panicking and selling it hoping to protect their money .
