Scar’s an (unintentional) genius

Since some of the Minecraft geniuses (forgot which ones) gave Scar a hard time about him not properly lighting up the zombie exhibit (as per usual Scar fashion), I’ve been thinking about this… but Scar didn’t light up the space underneath his terraformed dirt— to the point that the game wouldn’t allow him to sleep in certain areas in the zoo.

So half the hostile mobs that would usually spawn on the terrain spawn under it. I don’t know if there is a mob cramming limit on the server, but if there is, it makes it even more unlikely that Scar’s “mob resistant” zombie exhibit would spawn any creepers or skeletons.

Does Scar know about this? Was it intentional? Probably not, but it’s genius in my opinion.

Today (June 29) would have been his 66th birthday, I'll still occasionally watch some of his content though there's less and less I haven't seen at this point. If you aren't familiar with his videos outside of the hermitcraft series I'd recommend any of the modpack videos and he did a pretty long running series of Skyrim videos which I also quite enjoyed

Fake HC channel on my feed

Moments ago I saw a Pearl video on my feed, but it wasn't from Pearl, but a random Youtube channel which I'd never seen before. Looking at his post history, it seems like someone wanting to leech subscribers/views from actual content creators by copying/reuploading their videos.

Not sure if Hermitcraft members are aware, but those being copied may want to take action. I added the Youtube channel in a spoiler.
