Traveling to India from Canada, looking for suggestions

Hello from Canada! My husband and I are very interested in traveling to India, especially Kerala, to experience the nature, culture, and food.

I think India has some very gorgeous nature and so we are interested in staying in a kind of nature resort/retreat.

But we also don't want to stay just at a resort the whole time, so would like to have the option for guided tours of local cities/villages, shopping, or some kind of cultural excursion. We also love to cook (ESPECIALLY Indian food!) and so would really like to be able to take some classes and learn about the local cuisine.

You have such a beautiful country and we are so eager to visit. Would just love to know which places you recommend we look into or if you have stayed anywhere like this that you really enjoyed.

So far we have found Tulsi Village in Kerala, but want to expore other options before making a decision.

When will discrimination end?

Hi guys, I wanted to share some thoughts.
Everyone knows the Nationally spread hate north indians vs south indians especially how people hate on kerala but first let's talk about what's happening inside our state.
Even when kerala is one of the literate state in India why does discrimination exist based on caste, religion,colour, we even mock migrant workers from different states by calling them bengali. While we go to other countries mainly gulf countries for the same purpose which is to work and take care of our families. Change should start from oneself, so what can we do to change this?
