Appreciation for kerala police

(tl;dr)

Had a scary incident where my dad fell unconscious with high fever during a long drive in Kerala. Couldn’t reach him, but when I called the Pudukkad police station, the SI personally located him, rushed him to the hospital, stayed until my brother arrived, ensured his valuables were safe, and even called me the next day to check on him. Honestly, I don’t think this kind of warmth and efficiency happens in many other states. Huge respect to Kerala Police, especially Pudukkad PS. 🙏 Does anyone know if there’s an official way to share their names and appreciate them formally?

Long Version

My dad was driving alone to consult a doctor when he suddenly developed a dangerously high fever mid-journey. He became delirious and nearly unconscious, barely able to speak on the phone. Both my brother and I were nowhere close enough to reach him quickly, and locating his exact spot took us a lot of effort since he was barely coherent.

In desperation, I called the Pudukkad police station in Kerala. To my surprise, within minutes, the Station Inspector himself rushed to the spot, found my dad in a very bad state, and immediately took him to the hospital. He didn’t just stop there — he ensured the doctor attended to him, stayed around until my brother arrived in town, and made sure all my dad’s valuables were safe in the process.

What truly struck me was what happened the next day: the Inspector personally called me to ask how my dad was doing. That kind of empathy and follow-through is rare in our country’s policing system.

I genuinely don’t think this level of sincerity and warmth would’ve happened in most other Indian states. It gave me a new respect for the Kerala Police and especially the team at Pudukkad station. Kudos to them for going above and beyond. 🙏

Question to this community: Is there an official way I can share the names of these officers and formally appreciate them? I’d love for their efforts to be recognized properly.
