Party goons stole my mother's vote

This happend few yrs ago i dont remember which election My mother is an gov aided school teacher , and she would be appointed as election poll officer i hope everyone knows that.
And her vote is done through confidential postal.
But what happened is that a party guy took the postal vote from post office and voted for their party(LDF) .
MY mother who was confused after election that why didn't she got to vote was told by my relative(who also is a party member) that they took her postal vote and voted.
My mother was shocked and shouted at him.
We didn't go through police complaint because my relative was also involved, But when i look back now as an adult i find it extremely bad that we didnt react through law.
.
What are the consequences which they would face if we had given police complaint.
Note - that party had also won that election

What do you think we should do - common man vs big movie production house

So, here’s a totally hypothetical situation.

A big production house approached us to use our space (that we use for storage of certain important materials related to our project. Said materials are behind a locked door they were specifically instructed not to open, this will be important soon) for shooting parts of their movie. They shot, paid some fee as rent (not a big amount but not peanuts) for using the space and left.

When the space was reopened two months (we were travelling) after they had wrapped, we found all sorts of small to medium damage - a beautiful work table covered in burns and paint, alcohol bottles left behind, personal effects (notes, clothes, curtains) used as cleaning materials, huge bags of trash that caused unholy smells - big enough for us to write to the contact person only for him to not reply and then block us. We finally called them and told the situation about the damages and they said we should’ve gone to them immediately and they can’t do anything now. We bit our tongues and cursed our luck.

Now the movie came out and we went to watch it, excited that our beloved space was starring in it.
As the movie progresses, we see and recognise our space and are very happy, but slowly that smile is wiped off our faces when we see our materials had been moved around and shifted without permission, the door that was not to be opened was wide open and our materials had been used as props in the movie. Without revealing too much about them - these are very delicate things that they had no business opening or moving.

What do you think we should do?
