Reactions around the world to US act of war against Iran: few countries approved or impressed. Mostly Trump patting himself on the back with Netanyahu cheerleading in the background

Pope Leo - Every member of the international community has a moral responsibility: to stop the tragedy of war before it becomes an irreparable abyss. No armed victory can compensate for the pain of mothers, the fear of children, the stolen future. Let diplomacy silence the weapons, let nations chart their future with peace efforts, not with violence and bloody conflicts
China - China strongly condemns the US attacks on Iran and bombing of nuclear facilities under the safeguards of the IAEA. The actions of the U.S. seriously violate the purposes and principles of the UN Charter and international law, and have exacerbated tensions in the Middle East. China calls on the parties to the conflict, Israel in particular, to reach a ceasefire as soon as possible, ensure the safety of civilians, and start dialogue and negotiation. China stands ready to work with the international community to pool efforts together and uphold justice, and work for restoring peace and stability in the Middle East.
UK - There is a risk of escalation. There’s a risk to the region. It’s a risk beyond the region, and that’s why all our focus has been on de-escalating, getting people back around to negotiate what is a very real threat in relation to the nuclear program. We were not involved in the attack. We were given due notice as we would expect as close allies to the US. And we have been moving assets to the region to make sure that we’re in a position to protect our own interests, our personnel and our assets and of course those of our allies.
Russia - “The irresponsible decision to subject the territory of a sovereign state to missile and bomb attacks, whatever the arguments it may be presented with, flagrantly violates international law, the Charter of the United Nations and the resolutions of the UN security council.”
Turkey - Turkey has warned the US attack on Iran could turn a regional conflict into a global one, as the foreign ministry said Ankara was deeply concerned about possible repercussions after the attacks. In a statement, the ministry said that a spread of the conflict into a wider global war must not be allowed, calling on all parties to act with responsibility and end attacks immediately.
EU - Kallas, who is also a vice-president of the European Commission said: “Iran must not be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon, as it would be a threat to international security. “I urge all sides to step back, return to the negotiating table and prevent further escalation.
United Nations - Secretary-General António Guterres on Saturday branded the US strikes on Iran as a “dangerous escalation in a region already on the edge – and a direct threat to international peace and security.”
Spain - Spain’s Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares Bueno said his country is “very concerned” over the escalating tensions in light of the US attacks on Iran. “It is not a military solution that will bring peace and stability to the Middle East, but rather diplomacy, and therefore we hope that everyone will return to the negotiating table,”
Saudi Arabia - “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is following with deep concern the developments in the Islamic Republic of Iran, particularly the targeting of Iranian nuclear facilities by the United States of America,” the kingdom’s Foreign Ministry said.
Cuba - Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel strongly condemned the US

Chile - Chilean President Gabriel Boric also called the US action illegal. “Chile condemns this US attack,” he wrote on X. “Having power does not authorise you to use it in violation of the rules that we as humanity have given ourselves. Even if you are the United States.”
Venezuela - In a statement on Telegram, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil said his country “firmly and categorically condemns the bombing carried out by the US military, at the request of the state of Israel”. He also called for an “immediate cessation of hostilities”.
