Is nobody hiring pilots in the US?
My son graduated with a BS from a well-known Part 141 school in 2023. He then instructed at the school for over a year to build hours. He has his single and multi-engine ratings, instrument rating, CFI, complex airplane, and commercial. He has over 1200 total hours and has passed the written ATP test.
I'm sad that after all this time and money he is currently doing Door Dash to make ends meet.
He's currently based in St. Paul, MN, where he moved hoping the job market would be better. His applications for pilot jobs just seem to go into a black hole. Is there anywhere he can get a foot in the door?
