Lelis on why he decided to leave OG (+ some behind-the-scenes on the team as a whole)
Lelis recently recorded [a video about his time with OG](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRFAtpFNT_A), and since the video is in Portuguese, I thought it would be useful to translate some highlights:
* He chose to leave on his own (he wasn’t kicked or anything like that). The decision was made peacefully within the team, there wasn’t any infighting or anything of the sort.
* The main reason was that he was unhappy with how some things were going. He didn’t feel the team had been improving in any meaningful way over the last few months (and adds that he also didn’t feel the team had the structure in place to improve).
* He talks about their last bootcamp and how it wasn’t very productive. Five days before the bootcamp, Stormstormer decided to leave the team, and one of the players couldn’t even go due to visa issues. That significantly affected the team’s dynamics and performance (though he also makes it clear this isn’t an excuse for the results they were getting).
* He mentions the team already had problems from before he joined, and that, with things as they were, he wasn’t confident they would improve anytime soon. Because of that, he felt it was more fair to both himself and the team to step away so they could find someone who would be a better fit.
* Even so, he says playing with OG was a very valuable experience for him. He especially highlights the conversations he had with N0tail, saying he learned a lot from him and got a better sense of why he’s been so successful as a pro player.
* He makes it clear there was no drama or internal fights with anyone. In fact, he says one of the sad parts of leaving was that he genuinely enjoyed being around everyone there.
* Currently he’s without a team. Since the roster shuffle is basically finished, he doesn’t expect to find a new one anytime soon, but he’s open to offers (especially for positions 4 and 5). Even so, he believes he played well with OG, so he isn’t feeling shaken by the experience.

How good was JerAx?
How good was Jerax? If you had to compare him to someone nowadays, who would it be? I noticed that some Chinese tier 1 players have “JerAx” in their names, so I assume they respect him a lot.
However, I don’t know much about him. I remember his peak performance with OG at TI, but I feel like he retired quite early — and he seemed to really mean it.
