I finally got macOS working but only whatevergreen boots

I’m using hp envy x360 with ryzen 5 2500u Radeon vega graphics when i got it to install and boot when i try to use the nootedred kext it doesn’t want to boot any suggestions i went on dortania compatibility wiki and saw APUs weren’t supported but i got it working just no graphics acceleration please help I’ve made other posts on here but zero help from the hackintosh community

HP Elitebook 830 G5 Hackintosh

Dear Community,


I'm trying to install MacOS on my HP Elitebook 830 G5 laptop.
This laptop was just laying on the shelve, so why not install MacOS on it.
It has been a while since the last time I did a Hackintosh installation on a laptop that worked.

Now the question is, does anyone have a step by step guide for me (link) how I can achieve this with Windows ?

I don't have any Mac available to build installation media.


I already tried with the bootloaders, had found some recovery images, but it seems nothing is working, and only the apple logo shows up and stays there for hours :-P

is there any way to get internet in macos installation

so my ethernet adapter is RTL8111/8168/8211/8411
and wifi card is RTL8822CE

when im installing rtl8111 kext nothing is shows up on the installation

do i have to do something to get ethernet working or theres no way?

can someone help me? in installing macos on my laptop

so basically i tried installing mac os sequoia on my laptop but the network drivers show's that they are unsupported i didnt really think that it would be a problem in the installation but when i completed everything and booted into macos and tried to install it it showed that a network connection is required i dont have a ethernet cable is there any other way ? or fix for it, ill attach a screenshot of what the opencore simplify says

Want to install mac os in my asus tuf gaming laptop

I have 1tb of storage and i want use half of it for windows and half for mac. I did that previously with the help of a video but the problem was wifi and bluetooth didn’t work which is a need here. Im a rookie with this kinda installation so need some guidance

Laptop specs:

1. Processor: intel core i5-10300H
2. Gpu: nvidia gtx 1650 ti
3. Storage: 1tb SSD NVMe
4. Memory: 16gb ram

I don’t know about motherboard details or what other details needed so kindly let me know.

Hi, I installed Sequoia on my pc but I still need to boot with a usb otherwise I'll get to the windows recovery page... How to start without usb? I followed a tutorial where I mounted the EFI tot my desktop but now what? I need to copy somting to something but idk, I don't understand...

Recommended way to safely upgrade from Sequoia to Tahoe

Hi,

I just built my first Hackintosh over this past summer (an interesting time to get into Hackintosh, I know) with Sequoia 15.5 on an Intel i7-14700KF CPU and AMD RX 6600 GPU. I followed some tutorial online that provided a template with OpenCore, kexts, and .SSDT files.

I've never upgraded from 15.5 so I'm not sure what to expect or the "safe" way to do an upgrade. I assume doing an in-place upgrade is pretty risky, but is there another way to test whether the same set of kexts and .SSDT files will work with Tahoe? Or since I already have Time Machine backups, is it pretty safe to just try an in-place upgrade and see what happens? Or should I do a clean install of Tahoe and then restore from my (Sequoia) Time Machine backup?

Looking for feedback on a tray I designed for the Magic Keyboard and Trackpad

Hey everyone
I have been working on this tray that brings the Magic Keyboard and Trackpad together in one piece It is CNC machined from aluminium with a soft matte finish and a slight lift to make typing feel a bit more natural

I have been refining it over the last few months and wanted to ask for some honest feedback from people who actually use these devices every day What do you think of the layout and proportions And is there anything you would improve or add

I am especially curious about small details that make a difference in daily use

How to get working hardware dump on Linux?

So i tried to do it manually but i failed. So i want to opt for OpCore-Simplify. But the python file produces errors when i run it, and i tried using ocysysinfo to get it but it doesnt work with Opcore simplify. Does anybody know a fix for this?
