HELP! AppStore++

So I just jailbroke an iPad Mini 3, with 12.5.7 with chimera for my kid, I installed Cokepokes AppStore++, to get the latest compatible version of Roblox (basically, thats the only thing he wants to use the iPad for) but, when I try to install it eith the downgrade/upgrade button, it still says it need iOS 13, even on the last version, Do any of you guys know what could be going wrong or maybe a different method?

What are the most useful apps for iOS after jailbreaking?

I was seriously thinking about what to do after jailbreaking, what to download to make it really worth it. I was thinking about using altstore, Cydia, or sideloading, but sometimes I think they have more disadvantages than advantages.

Can Jailbreaking Help Install Higher iOS Versions or Newer Apps?

I’m new to the topic of iOS jailbreaking, and I was wondering whether it’s possible to upgrade the iOS version through jailbreaking, or install apps that normally require a higher iOS version. Is there any kind of store that provides apps made for newer versions of iOS?

I have an iPhone 4 and an iPad Mini 1, and I’m hoping to install a V2Ray VPN client and Instagram on them.

Can I program apps with Xcode and then download them to my jailbroken iOS device?

I was thinking of programming my own apps with Visual Studio Code and using Xamarin or something that has iOS support, and then signing them with AltStore. Once I jailbreak, is it not necessary to sign them? But if I need to update my iPhone or anything else, will I also have to support the apps, or is that really not necessary?

What’s the best repos? I have a iPhone 8, iOS 16.1.1. Jailbroke with dopamine. I see a lot of apps and tweets but can’t find them on my Sileo so was wondering which repos I need. Thanks in advance.

Switched from 11 16.5.1 to 13 16.3

Hi, I switched from iPhone 11 iOS 16.5.1 to iPhone 13 16.3, dopamine RootHide. Some tweaks such as blank icons and CC26 cause springboard crash now. Anyone with similar experiences?

Is it theoretically possible to make iOS 16 (jailbroken) appear as iOS 18 to run iOS 18–only apps?

I’m researching how iOS enforces minimum OS version requirements for apps.

From a theoretical perspective, is it ever possible for a jailbroken device on an older iOS version (e.g. iOS 16) to run an app that officially requires a newer version (e.g. iOS 18), assuming no concrete how-to details are discussed?

Specifically, I’m trying to understand:

Which parts of the system make this impossible in most cases (dyld, missing symbols/frameworks, ABI changes)?
In what scenarios (if any) this might still work when the restriction is purely a runtime version check inside the app.

This is purely for learning and understanding system behavior, not redistribution or piracy.
