Why do people trust random malayali influencers abroad?


If you are someone hoping to move to UK, I'd suggest you do some deep research. Please don't follow the fad and move because your friend did so or that influencer said so.

If you are a fresher, I'd completely suggest you stay back and gain some exposure before moving out. Students in large numbers are coming back after struggling to land a job as they lack any form of experience. Even experienced professionals are struggling to land a job.

Bh job, I mean an actual one - not working odd jobs, or care jobs. No disrespect, but why would you spend north of 20 lakhs for a degree and work these jobs to justify it. "Every job should be respected" sounds hip, but how long is someone going to do this, unless they are really passionate about caring.

It is a dire situation and I understand how people are stuck here after taking a hefty loan, and hence forced to do this. I could blame it on agencies and random influencers on SM who glorify struggles. But, ultimately, it is your responsibility to do your own research. I really hope people who are stuck, find a way out of this.

Lastly, influencers/youtubers currently living in the UK, glorifying these jobs or "luxury life" saying "what's wrong with care home jobs", are a special breed. I really don't understand how they work. You are stuck here doing these jobs, and you portray your life on social media often with a used but trash BMW/Mercedes misleading poor folks back home.

I personally think they are doing more harm than anyone. I'm not going for any names but anyone who says "kashtapedan manas undenkil rekshapedum" should be avoided like the plague.
To top it all off, we now have the visa scammers, and retired koodeshwaranmar with more mystery than the royal family but I see so many people supporting them.

Majority who moved to the UK successfully and found great jobs live their life peacefully without banging about it. So, be diligent, do your research, and scrutinise what you consume.
