​I am not a big fan of campus politics, nor have I wasted my time on it. But I do watch the fights and squabbles that happen in its name, just for fun.

​However, this time I happened to see a few things. In some colleges in Malabar, KSU joined with SFI to form a union just to defeat their own alliance partner, MSF. After everything, they celebrated by putting up a banner against MSF that said, "MSF തോറ്റു, വര്‍ഗീയത തോറ്റു."

​At the same time, another thing that shocked me was that ABVP won the union at Deva Matha College in Kuravilangad, Kottayam. I was very surprised by that because the region was heavily Christian dominated. And the guy who leads abvp in the college is a Christian too. He is the union president this time.

​Campus politics doesn't have any effect on society, but it is a reflection of the political trend that could be 20 years away.
​MSF is slowly creeping into every campus in Kerala, spreading out from Malabar. If there are even 10 Muslim students somewhere, they will gather them and form a unit. Then they will preach secularism. That is MSF. What we are seeing is that students from other communities, regardless of their party affiliation, are alienating them. Even their own alliance, KSU.

​Happy that the youth is aware of what is happening around and trying to bring a change. Wish their elders did the same.

I have a strong suspicion about my relative being a fake doctor

I suspect that one of my relatives might be practicing as a fake doctor. This person has a nameboard displaying only their name followed by “MBBS, MD,” but there’s no registration number mentioned.

To give some background, in 2016, this person enrolled in an MBBS program abroad. However, in 2018, their father passed away, and they returned to India. They never went back to complete their medical studies. I wasn’t aware of this at first, but during the COVID-19 in 2020, I saw a photo of this person at a railway station wearing a PPE kit and posing as a doctor, checking people’s temperatures.
Now, this individual appears to be working in an orphanage, and many of our relatives suspect that they’re falsely claiming to be a qualified doctor. However, none of us have taken any action so far.

What should I do, how to check this person's authenticity?

On October 10, 2025, a 24-year-old man named Ananthu Aji from Kanjirappally in Kerala's Kottayam district took his own life, leaving behind a harrowing account of alleged long-term sexual abuse and persecution linked to his involvement with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a prominent Hindu nationalist volunteer organization in India. The RSS, founded in 1925, is known for its ideological influence on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its focus on cultural and physical training through daily "shakhas" (branches) and camps, which attract thousands of young participants. Ananthu's story has sparked immediate outrage on social media, highlighting concerns about child safety and institutional accountability within such groups.

#### Background and Sequence of Events
Ananthu, described by those close to him as a quiet and dedicated individual, had been an active participant in RSS activities from a young age. According to his final message, the abuse began when he was just four years old during RSS camps, where he was allegedly sexually exploited by a prominent local RSS and BJP worker. This trauma reportedly continued over years, escalating to include physical violence such as beatings with sticks. The betrayal was particularly acute for Ananthu, who had once viewed the organization as a formative part of his life and even contributed to its efforts.

The cumulative psychological toll led to severe depression. For the past year and a half, Ananthu had been receiving treatment and medication, but the unrelenting pain proved overwhelming. On the day of his death, he ended his life by hanging, a method confirmed in initial reports circulating online. His family and friends were devastated, with the incident unfolding in a small town where community ties run deep, amplifying the shockwaves through local networks.

#### The Suicide Note: A Stark Warning
Ananthu's most poignant legacy is a scheduled Instagram post that went live shortly after his death, serving as both a suicide note and a public testimony. In it, he poured out years of suppressed anguish, framing his experience as emblematic of broader systemic issues. Key excerpts from the note include:

- On his hatred for the RSS: "No organization has ever evoked such profound animosity in me as the RSS. They are filled with venom."
- Advice to others: "Never befriend an RSS member" and a urgent call to "rescue victims and provide them counseling," claiming that "others have also suffered similar abuse in RSS camps."
- Lack of evidence and final plea: Acknowledging the challenge of proving his claims without concrete proof, he wrote, "I have no evidence... My life will be the proof. I hope no child has to go through what I did." He also implored parents: "Educate your children about sexual safety."

The RSS has not issued an official response yet, which is unsurprising given the recency of the event. However, past controversies involving the organization—such as isolated reports of internal misconduct—have often led to denials or calls for individual accountability rather than systemic review. Civil society groups in Kerala, known for its progressive stance on social issues, are already mobilizing, with activists urging a thorough, independent inquiry to prevent similar cases.
