Love, money and contracts even relationships feel like capitalism now
Its weird living in a time where everything feels like a transaction work, housing even love. I used to think relationships were the one place untouched by that but lately it feels like money seeps into everything eventually.
You start out just wanting connection then reality hits bills, housing prices, debts and who pays for what. Suddenly you’re not just talking about feelings, you’re talking about financial responsibility. And somehow that feels… normal now?
I’ve seen couples fighting over finances before even moving in together or signing contracts before saying “I do.” It’s not even shocking anymore. Im not judging just realizing how the world we live in makes everyone think more like a businessperson even in love.
Maybe thats just survival in late stage capitalism
