Metrowealth (MIG) used my music without permission — disappointing experience
Hi everyone,
I wanted to share my recent experience with Metrowealth (MIG), the Malaysian production company behind Dendam Seorang Madu.
My original piano composition, “Emotional Sad Piano,” was used in Episode 47 of that series without my permission or a proper broadcast license. I discovered this by chance and immediately contacted them to sort it out professionally.
To be fair, at first they replied and asked me for proof of ownership — which I provided in full, including all the copyright documentation. But after that… complete silence. No follow-up, no acknowledgment, and no effort to resolve the issue.
I even sent a few reminder emails, but it’s been weeks with zero response. It’s frustrating because this isn’t just about money — it’s about basic respect for artists and their work. Using copyrighted material without consent is not a “small issue.” It shows how casually creative work is treated, even by established media companies.
I still hope they’ll do the right thing and communicate properly, but honestly, the lack of professionalism so far has been really disappointing.
Just sharing this here as a heads-up to other musicians, composers, and creators who might deal with similar companies. Always protect your work, and don’t assume they’ll automatically do the right thing.

Why Shopee try so hard to push "Buy Now Pay Later" to our face?
Just wondering why are they even try to appeal BNPL to normal consumer who are "READY" to checkout and pay in full too? How could this achieve a win-win situation?
I understand that its a trend for people(who cant afford) to use it as a credit card esque but why normal people also become their hunting ground?
