How much allowance do you give your parents?

I’m 22 and currently earning around 4K, and my mom recently started asking for an allowance from me. Both of my parents have their own businesses and are doing pretty well financially, but my mom insists that I should start giving her some allowance.

For context, I don’t have any major commitments at the moment just spending on petrol, TNG, food, and my girlfriend.
