Coop and Carrie Page going to the Palmer house in the finale of The Return was filmed ten years ago tonight.
Go find a house in the suburbs, stand in the street, and scream at it until the power goes out.

What was it like waiting 25 years for Twin Peaks: The Return
I just finished Twin Peaks season 2 and I was up at night thinking what’s going to happen to Cooper. Then I thought about how some people had to wait 25 years and that’s diabolical. It’s such a disturbing way to end the show but I mean that in a good way. With David Lynch, you wouldn’t want it any other way.

10 Years Ago Tonight The Finale Was Filmed.....
It is hard to believe that tonight marks 10 years that have passed since David Lynch filmed the finale to The Return (aka Season 3) of Twin Peaks. Over the last few years I have posted here about that night as I was one of the lucky fans who were there to witness it as it happened. Because I am a massive procrastinator, and still am, I have yet to do a complete write-up of that evening as I know there are a good number of fans who want to read about that night. When I do I will make sure to post it up so my sincere apologies to those who have requested it. I am blessed to have an incredible memory and can recall every little detail about that night and what I observed (and was told) for the entire time I was there. The entire sequence of them walking up the steps and the interaction with Mary Reber (the real life owner of the house) was filmed before I had arrived that evening and that was the footage that TMZ aired the following evening which royally upset Lynch and the crew and rightfully so.
Filming took place at the "Palmer House" October 9-10, 2015 in Everett Washington. It was a 12-hour shoot starting at 6:00pm on the evening of the 9th and wrapped at 6:00am on the early morning of the 10th. I was there from 11:45pm until shortly after 6:00am. When I say it was surreal, that is truly an understatement. Seeing and hearing Lynch direct is something I will never forget, he even smiled and waved to the small amount of fans who were still watching when they wrapped that early morning. He allowed us incredible access that night, he could have easily had the streets around the house closed down for fans/watchers, but he didn't. The house sits in the middle of a large neighborhood but they didn't need to have us as close as they did, but very grateful they did. We were beyond close, at one point about 50 feet from the action such as when Sheryl let out her scream, etc.
The weather this evening here in Seattle as I type this is exactly the same weather as it was that evening 10 years ago. Cloudy, cool, a light breeze, and a calmness in the air. Here are a few photos I took that night, I have yet to share most of them or the video clips I took that evening. We were asked not to post anything online/discuss it until the episode in question aired. Should anyone have any questions, feel free to ask away.
