Good morning.
I will not be celebrating “Juneteenth” today.
Another ridiculous race-based “holiday” purposely created during a time when we should be getting ready to celebrate a more unifying holiday “Independence Day”.
This country fought an incredibly bloody war where 600k plus lives were lost to rid ourselves of slavery.
There have also been incredible strides taken (since then) to put laws on the books protecting the rights of every legal citizen in this country.
Content of character, not color of skin.
I’ll celebrate that.
