Planning to bring your pet to Russia? Here’s what you need to know to make the journey stress-free for both of you!
📌 Key Requirements:
▪️Health Certificate
A veterinary certificate confirming your pet is healthy and free from contagious diseases. It must be issued no earlier than 5 days before travel.
▪️ Rabies Vaccination
Your pet needs a valid rabies shot, given at least 21 days before arriving in Russia.
▪️ Microchip
An ISO 11784/11785-compliant microchip is required for identification.
▪️Import Permit
Depending on your country, an import permit might be needed. Double-check with Russian veterinary authorities in advance.
