Google is working on a new type of navigation bar starting with the new Gboard Beta 14.2.01 Its color looks a bit wrong even on default themes Flag for it: Name: enable_scrollable_nav_bar Value: true Type: boolean
In the new Gboard Beta 14.8.02 the new navigation bar in the emoji panel has been updated again, the flag has not changed.

In the new Gboard Beta 14.9.06, you can now hide/show the Replace button and/or the thumbs up/down buttons in Writing Tools.
The cards are clickable in all cases.
