At joining, you were muted for 5 minutes so you can read the rules.

Groups like @Python and @Django are help groups for learners and developers.
For all other talk, go to @PythonOfftopic, where no topic is enforced but rules still apply.
See rule 🔟 for job-related posts.
All the groups that have @Doragonsureiya_bot as admin are related and are considered to be in a single groups-network.

For videos and tutorials, see our collection at @PythonRes.
For tips and commands, scroll to the bottom of this post.
If unsure about something, you may ask in the meta group, link below the rules.
☠️️ Using alt accounts to bypass bans is forbidden

⚠️⛔️WARNED/BANNED? Don't complain about it in the groups
GO TO THE META
GROUP:
Do not join the meta group, unless:
You want to ask permission for ads
• You want to appeal a ban/warn (the affected account must join)
• You have a suggestion for us
• Or you want to report a PM spammer (forwarded messages are evidence, screenshots are not)

Important thing:
• Don't ask to be admin/mod of the groups

TIPS:

Thes
e are ways you can improve the odds of someone wanting to help you.

Be considerate when posting questions.
• Use a search engine (duck.com, google.com) before asking. Stackoverflow is your friend.
• Be straight to the point (do not ask to ask.)
• Be specific, include as many details as you can.
• Show what you've tried to solve the problem (see rule 5.)
• We simply don't care if anything is "urgent" - you've made your bed.

It's good style to limit the amount of sent messages; put effort into 1 message, rather than sending many of them, and edit messages to fix errors or include more information.

Don't call strangers "bro" nor "dear", this is considered rude in many countries.

The group bot has a lot of canned responses that can be used when replying to someone. The most commonly used ones are:
!ol - Display a list of python groups for other languages.
!paste - Display a list of pasting services.
!markdown - Learn how to use markdown formatting.
!res - Post the link to the Python resource collection.
!meta - Tell someone to get to the point!
Message the bot privately to get a full list, and to try them out.
10 GROUP RULES:

They apply to all groups in the network, unless exceptions are explicitly stated.

1️⃣ Speak English only.
• Send !ol to get groups in other languages.
2️⃣ Be civil, respect each other. No racism/discrimination, no arguing, and don't give bad advice (e.g.: to use W3Schools or ChatGPT ).
3️⃣ The groups are tidy, and focused on their topic. This means:
• No: flood, SPAM, bot abuse, useless emojis, nonsense messages, no faulty user-bots
• Don't send useless messages like "Hi"/"Hello", "How are you ?", "Where are you from?", "I'm new here" and similar neither useless emojis.
• No necro-posting (replying to old messages) nor cross-posting (sending the same in multiple groups)
• No exams/homework/interviews/assignments request cheats/solutions, AKA Spoon-feeding
• No names that hinder chat readability
• Don't discuss warns/bans in any group other than the Meta one
• Don't copy/paste answers from ChatGPT or similar AI, neither suggest to use them
4️⃣ Media: No NSFW, No flashing, epilepsy-inducing animations, no photos/videos of screen taken with your phone camera.
5️⃣ Code sharing: Be considerate. This means:
• Try to use markdown formatting.
• For many lines (5-10+) of code, use a pasting service: dpaste.org, hastebin.com.
• Don't ever attach photos or videos of your screen taken with your phone camera.
6️⃣ Links: Be transparent, and don't anger the bot.
• Don't post a link with no context - that's spam.
• No referral/shortened links.
• No sending group forwards/links and obviously don't ask for them.
• Asking to be sent groups privately is only allowed in @PythonOfftopic.
7️⃣ Ads are not allowed, don't post advertisements/promotions (even worse if it's your own blog-posts). But sharing open-source projects is OK if you ask for permission to post GitHub (or similar) repos in meta group.
8️⃣ No illegal activity. This also means no piracy, no requesting/offering hacking.
9️⃣ Private messages: Be transparent, and respect people's inboxes.
• Do not request PMs or tag people for no clear reason - that's spam.
• Do not send PMs without the recipient's consent; ask the person in the group first.
• This group is not to look up for teachers/instructors/mentors, if you have questions ask in the group, not in DM
