Today's March Make-up SAT exam made us write this post again.

That College Board we know re-used exams "U.S March SAT V1 and U.S March SAT V2(mostly)" for their retake exam on the 22nd of March. Some students even got an exact replica of the March 8th versions, which were leaked after the exam. It was not a Scholastic Aptitude Test; rather, it was the "SAT: Smuggled Answers Test."

All in all, we have always been against leaks. We believe they are immoral and unfair to those who don’t have access to these materials or aren’t aware of their existence. These students are working hard but getting the same results as Eshmat, who—before exam—solved another leak that appeared in 80% of the exam.

Reflecting on the situation, We want to promise to our students and their parents that we will continue teaching Pure Math and Pure English and work on students' skills instead of preparing them just for the "exam" and relying on leaked materials!

🦣On Ozodbek!

In February 2023, the one and only Ivy Community at @satashkent appeared on the face of the earth. And there was Ozodbek—still a big boy back then. He studied for the SAT for several months, first taking it in May (scoring 1390), and again in August 2023 (scoring 1450).

We were sure he would eventually get that 1500+ score, and we walked alongside him through that journey. Ozodbek did get that result and applied to more than 10 schools. However, he became a full-time receiver of rejections. He was afraid to take a gap year, but his fear never let him go—and ultimately, Ozod stepped into his gap year.

It was both a depressing and fruitful year of his life. During that time, he joined U-Report Uzbekistan. Not long after, he began volunteering as a Translator at the Inson Social Service Center, where he even got the chance to meet UN Delegates from Kazakhstan. He visited the U.S. before knowing he would one day study there—participating in an international program in Washington, D.C. In addition to his existing activities, these were strong indicators of his commitment.

And then, the same Ozodbek—with an even deeper story to tell—applied to colleges again.
And was accepted to Amherst College with a full-ride. Crazy $403,000 USD for four years at one of the best liberal arts colleges in the United States of America.

Message to Ozodbek:

Ozodbek, congratulations. Even in your very first weeks at @satashkent, it was clear what a humble and curious person you were. You always had a big heart and were an irreplaceable part of the Ivy Community.

We believed you would do this.
You would often say, “How does it feel to get into a good college with a full-ride? Will I ever feel that?”
Now, this is your moment to shine. Thank you for being a part of our community! We are always here to help you whenever you need it.

You are a part of the SATashkent community—a very important part.🫀

You will never walk alone.

FROM MIT TO UCHICAGO...

🏛Munisa joined us at @satashkent in February 2024. However, due to her studies at ALWIUT, she had to take a gap, eventually rejoining us in April 2024.

🎓She joined the MIT group, whose graduates are the incoming freshmen at Cornell University, New York University (Abu Dhabi and Shanghai campuses), Duke Kunshan University, University of Edinburgh, University College London, and the University of Chicago (21#) with Munisa.

Munisa consistently scored the highest within the group, achieving 51-53/54 in English, though she initially had some difficulties with Math. Her first scores, taken in August, were 750 in English and 690 in Math. After focusing on improving her Math section with Shoxruh in the following months, she finally scored 770 in Math, achieving a final total score of 1520.

Now, we would like to congratulate Munisa on her acceptance to the University of Chicago!

📝Reflecting on her time at UChicago, Munisa says:
"Ironically, my lowest point started at the top. The 7th floor of an office building with a panoramic view of the city was also the place that witnessed some of my biggest setbacks.

While most people might know me for my acceptance to the University of Chicago, ranked 21st in the world (2025 QS ranking), SATashkent knew me as a girl with a strong will and an even stronger tendency to neglect homework.

Balancing schoolwork at ALWIUT, SAT courses, and trying to maintain my personal life proved to be much harder than I expected. Although I started my SAT journey in February 2024, I had to take a break due to the unexpected pressure. The decision wasn’t easy, but my English teacher at the time, Mr. Jamshid, was understanding and supportive throughout the process.

The comeback came in May. Following consultations with Asadbek Urakov, I realized that the only person who could dictate my future was me. Despite the time constraints, I learned to set priorities from my restless and ambitious MIT group mates. Each math class with Mr. Shoxrux opened up new opportunities for me to grow, followed by insightful conversations on world affairs. With a meticulously devised plan and a whole community behind me, I was able to envision what my future could look like with ease.

And so, the 7th floor, which once bore witness to my struggles, became the place that overlooked my first steps toward something greater. My road to UChicago was definitely not a solo journey, but rather a product of the support and encouragement of The Community, for which I am beyond grateful."

We wish Munisa an amazing academic and social journey at the University of Chicago.

From MIT to the University of Chicago!🚀

🔥SAT 1530🇰🇬

Studied program:

- Online SAT 1500+

Before joining SATashkent, I tried to prepare for the SAT independently. Despite my best efforts, I couldn't achieve my desired score.

For instance, in November 2024, I took the SAT and scored 1300 (600 in English, 700 in Math).

I was deeply disappointed because it was my second attempt, and I had failed again. The most frustrating part was knowing I had the potential to score higher, but I couldn't demonstrate my full capabilities. After a 2-month break, I decided to give it one last try. In January 2025, I enrolled in SATashkent's course.

After joining the course, I understood why SATashkent had produced so many successful SAT students. They motivated students to go the extra mile by assigning practice tests, reading materials, and writing reflections. I gained access to a lot of SAT materials that were unavailable during my self-study.

The online classes were particularly helpful. I especially appreciated Mr. Jamshidbek's explanations of challenging questions. His critical thinking and teaching skills were exceptional. I paid close attention to his thought processes when solving SAT questions. By consistently observing and learning from him during my preparation, I learned how to approach and analyze SAT questions effectively. This was something I lacked during my self-study: seeing someone else demonstrate the steps and reasoning involved in solving SAT problems.

My math teacher also played a significant role. While I could solve most SAT math questions, I struggled with the more difficult ones. Mr. Rakhmonjon taught me how to approach these challenging questions and effectively apply the concepts I knew to solve them.

Moreover, the study plan created by my teachers allowed me to focus on my weaknesses and improve.  It was then that I understood the crucial role of analyzing error reports for each practice test; this, as a result, contributed to my rapid progress.

Consequently, in just about 2 months of preparation, I improved my score from 1300 to 1530.

In conclusion, I am incredibly grateful to my teachers and the staff. Without their guidance, I wouldn't have achieved my desired score.

Thank you for being with us on your journey, good luck with your admissions journey Doston🫡
