250W GPU + 120W CPU in NCase M2, too much or just fine?

Hi there, im wondering how hot the above title system power limits will realistically run in the NCase M2. I plan on doing a build with new parts and current parts from my PC and making the final jump to AM5 with a 7600X as a holdover until Zen 6, a Micro ATX motherboard (MSI MAG B850m Mortar Gaming) and an RTX 4070 FE. I plan on using a thermalright PA120 mini for the CPU, with 1 top exhaust fan, reference layout. Window side panel. Later I plan on updating both the CPU and GPU when Zen 6 launches.

For future upgrades to this build, I plan on never really running a CPU above 90-120w and a GPU above 200-250. Can I expect the M2 with such a setup to stay below thermal throttle limits, including undervolting and imposing strict power and temperature limits in BIOS? Build is mostly for gaming in CPU-heavy games, but also for work and studies in programming and some design work in CAD programs.

Insight is greatly appreciated and I thank you

AMA: Cooler Master - Introducing the MasterFrame 400

Hey everyone!

The Cooler Master team is excited to share an early look at our upcoming SFF Case, MasterFrame 400: a compact, open-frame case designed for SFF enthusiasts who value flexibility, creativity, and customization.

We’re hosting this thread as an open AMA-style discussion to gather your feedback and hear what you think about the MasterFrame 400 before it launches.

To kick things off, here are a couple of questions we’d love to get your thoughts on:

1. How much would you pay for this case?
2. What inspires you to build SFF PCs over other form factors?

We’ve also included a side-by-side photo of the MasterFrame 400 next to the NR200P to give a sense of its size and proportions.

Schedule:
10/22 - 10/29: The Cooler Master team will begin responding to questions and comments directly in this thread.

Thanks again to the r/sffpc mods for having us! We’re really looking forward to hearing your thoughts and discussing how we can make the MasterFrame 400 the best possible SFF experience.

The Cooler Master Team

9900X3D vs 9950X3D (Eco mode) with low-profile cooler — which makes more sense?

Hi All,

Planning an SFF open build with a 67mm low-profile air cooler. Trying to decide between the following two Ryzen 9 CPUs:

9900X3D at stock
9950X3D in Eco mode (105w)

Main use: AAA gaming + productivity (ms office, email, web browsing)
Goal: low noise, good temps, stable frame times — not chasing max FPS.

Which setup would perform better thermally and overall in this scenario?
