Multiple cabins at the camp were swept away by rising waters, and several children are still unaccounted for.

The flash floods are part of a deadly storm system that has already claimed multiple lives across Central Texas.

BEACON ALERT: MISSING VETERAN

We are concerned for the welfare of Daniel Coleman, 43, who has been reported missing from the St Austell area.

Daniel was last seen in St Austell at around midday on Sunday 1 June, though this appeal from police is recent.

He is described as a white male of slim build, with short dark hair, stubble and a ruddy complexion. He is 5ft 7in tall.

Daniel may be wearing a navy-blue Berghaus baseball cap, black Lonsdale fleece, black joggers and black trainers.

If you have seen Daniel, or know of his whereabouts, please call Devon & Cornwall Police immediately on 999, quoting log number 413 of 18/6/25.
