Some Things People Refuse To Get Through Their Heads About Marriage
- The government has nothing to do with your marriage, and Islam has nothing to do with 'respecting the law of the land'
- The actual process of getting married takes like 20 minutes. Get it through your head that no matter how highly you think of yourself right now, you could commit zina at any moment. You need to be closing that door ASAP and it's absurd for you to still be unmarried in your mid-20s, quite frankly it should have been sorted in your teenage years
- 'til death do us part' is a Christian idea. Divorce is just a bit sad and part of life, it's not life ruining. Stop putting off marriage because 'oh no what if he/she leaves', it's pathetic, have some tawakul
- You aren't a 'prize' or a 'queen' or 'le alpha chad', just find someone who's chill, that you can get along with and that you think you'll enjoy sex with
- Stop expecting people to come ready made. You aren't perfect and your spouse won't be either
- If your salary can pay for takeaway and abayas, you have enough money to get married
- There is no good reason for your mahr to be going over $5000, you're basically just setting yourself up to be trapped in a marriage you hate
If you do not know what Allah and His Prophet (PBUH) said about a matter, then you do not know it, so be silent

"And do not utter falsehoods by letting your tongues declare: "This is lawful" and "That is unlawful," thus fabricating lies against Allah. Surely those who fabricate lies against Allah will never prosper." [Qur'an 16:116]

Knowing what Allah and His Prophet (PBUH) said sounds like "Allah/His Prophet (PBUH) said such and such".
It does not mean 'well I think such and such/my scholar said this to me'.
One of the big reasons why I left qiyas
As I became more aware of the things 'modernist Muslims' were saying and how it contradicted what Allah said, I also began to notice that the scholars whose fatawa I relied on were guilty of the same. The arguments made by both of these groups had about as much strength as each other, because in actuality they both lacked consistent principles.

When you start allowing yourself to say "Allah established this law because of such and such reason because we said so, and this reason also applies to this other thing, or it doesn't always apply so we don't actually have to adhere to it" you have abolished the sharia completely; if you took this to its logical conclusion you would have the same 'morals' as atheists.

The only reasonable way to understand the Book of Allah (the Qur'an and sunnah) is holistically, as it is, without adding to or taking away from any of it. Allah says what He means. No amount of word-games will make claiming that Allah established a law that He didn't anything except a lie.

Alhamdulillah, I found that there were many before me who had noticed this, and a small but quickly growing community of people who were rediscovering this. Inshallah, as more of us root out one of the biggest ailments of this ummah, the Muslims will quickly find themselves increasing in strength in ways people could not have imagined.
The new Antisemitism bill that Congress just passed doesnt only criminalize the Bible.

It also criminalizes the Quran and some hadith. These religious texts criticize Jews as a people.

Make sure your children know and understand what happened to their brothers and sisters in our age.

Relating to this topic, someone quoted to me a saying we have in Urdu:

چراغ تلے اندھیرا

Chirāgh talay andhera

Beneath the lantern is darkness.

One who dedicated his life to Da’wah should beware of exhorting all his efforts in bringing light to others, and then neglecting to bring it to his own children whom he is responsible for before Allāh and leaving them in the dark.

Often times, people may marry when they’re young — possibly before they were guided or when they were less aware or less practicing — to someone who’s on the same level as them. As time passes, Allāh has mercy on them and they may progress immensely over the years Deen-wise, but there’s no guarantee that the spouse does or even will, and that’s where this dilemma usually begins and the schism starts.

Whether it be a legendary Islāmic author, scholar, intellectual, Mujāhid, revolutionary, etc. — if his wife is not on the same page and will not water the children with the pure Manhaj (to the extent they ought to be watered and looked after), they most likely will never reach the fathers caliber or even follow in his footsteps.

Brothers who might be in a similar family situation (and it’s possibly common) need to realize that they are going to have to cut time off their other activities and step up in a way fathers usually don’t have to and contribute where their wife lacks — if they want to have a chance at having righteous offspring. He would need to put in triple the effort to their Tarbiyyah than a normal father would, والله المستعان.

Quite often I hear of a situation like the ones described in the original post in relation to famous Muslim figures and then their disappointing children. May Allāh protect the children of the Muslimīn.
I have noticed repeatedly that when they are bereft of a rebuttal, the arrogant are the first to rush towards accusing others of arrogance, and the rude are the first to accuse others of rudeness. All of this nonsense projection is indicative of someone who is unfit to discuss any serious matter, and anyone who entrusts decision making to such a person makes a grave error.
People aren't ready for the sheer numbers of people reverting to Islam right now, or seriously considering it. Whereas before I would seldom hear of anyone entertaining the idea, in recent years it has become common. It has reached a point where people I know will suddenly express interest, or a drunk stranger will pull me aside because I'm wearing a qamis and start telling me how they think Islam might be the truth.

It is easy for a person to be demoralized seeing so much suffering nowadays, but it's moments like these that remind you Allah has things in store which you could never imagine.

The genocide of Ghazzah reminds me a lot of the genocide of Bosnia; in fact, the situation is just history repeating itself.

One was committed by nationalist Christian fanatics, and the other by nationalist Jewish fanatics. Both groups were/are open about the fact their war was/is a religious one aimed at destroying Islām and its people.

The UN and the West abandoned Ghazzah and left its people to die at the hands of our enemies, just as they did in Bosnia.

Yet many Muslims still don’t learn, they try to appeal to the same kuffār who leave us be slaughtered by saying Palestine isn’t a religious conflict but rather a national liberation one. They still put their hope in democratic elections, the UN, and international law to stop the genocide in Ghazzah.

May Allāh have mercy on the people of Ghazzah.

How did Imam Bukhari die?!

Imam al-Bukhari was subjected to severe persecution at the end of his life from the rulers of Islamic cities in the eastern Islamic world.
Specifically, Nishapur, Bukhara, and Samarkand.

For many reasons, including:

_ His refusal to teach their children in their palaces.
He used to say: Knowledge is given and not taken to the door.

_Some people envied his fame and biography.
And other reasons.

When Al-Bukhari reached the age of 62, he received orders from the ruler of Nishapur to leave the city and that he was not wanted.

So he migrated from there until he reached his hometown of Bukhara. People greeted him at the gates of the city and sprinkled money and sugar on him. People, students of knowledge, and hadith scholars gathered around him until they abandoned the gatherings of other hadith scholars, which caused some people to become jealous of him.

But soon the ruler of Bukhara became angry with his fame, and messages also arrived from the ruler of Nishapur stating the need to expel the Imam from Bukhara as well, as he had previously been expelled from Nishapur.

The envoy of the city’s governor arrived at Al-Bukhari’s house urgently asking him to leave the city...and the orders were to “now” leave the city.

To the point that the Imam did not have time to collect his books and arrange them.. So he left the city and stayed on its outskirts in his tent for three days, adjusting his books and arranging them, but he did not know where he was going?!

Then Al-Bukhari moved towards the city of Samarkand... but he did not enter the city itself, but rather headed towards a village called Kharatnak to be a guest of his relatives there.
Accompanied by Ibrahim bin Maqil.

It did not take long for the guards to arrive at the doors of the house where the Imam stayed...

Their orders from the ruler of Samarkand this time are that Imam Bukhari must leave the areas of Samarkand and its villages.
This was the night of Eid al-Fitr.

But the orders were for him to go out “now” and not after the Eid... so the Imam feared that he would cause any harm to his relatives who had honored him...

So Ibrahim bin Maqil arranged the books for him on top of his first animal and prepared the second for the imam to ride on.
Then Ibn Maqil returned home and began to bring out Al-Bukhari while he was angry with him... and they were walking towards the riding animal...

After about 20 steps...
Imam Al-Bukhari felt more and more tired, so he asked Ibn Maqil to give him a few minutes to rest.

Imam Al-Bukhari sat next to the road.. Then he fell asleep.
And it was only a matter of minutes.. When Ibn Maqil wanted to wake up the Imam, he found that his soul had flowed to God... May God have mercy on him.

Imam Bukhari died on the side of the road on the night of Eid al-Fitr, Shawwal 1, 256 AH...
He was expelled from one city, another, and a third, and he was over 62 years old.

Today people do not know the names of the rulers of Nasapur, Bukhara, and Samarkand...but everyone knows Imam Bukhari.

May God have mercy on Imam Bukhari and raise his rank in the ranks of the Prophets, martyrs and righteous people.

My book regarding the Falsehood of Qiyas is finished الحمد لله تعالى !

This Book contains all arguments used by all of the Dhahiriyyah, before and after Ibn Hazm, and more. It answers every single thing and more than what Ahl ul-Qiyas have used as evidence, an answer for Al-Baji, Ibn Sam’ani, Ibn Qudamah, Abu Bakr Al-Razi Al-Jassas, Al-Tufi, Ibn Rajab, Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Al-Qayyim, Al-Ghazali, Yusuf Ibn Abd Al-Rahman, Muhammad Al-Amin Al-Shinqiti, Ibn Uthaymin, Abu ’Ubayd and many others. In no Usul ul-Fiqh book from any Madhab will you find the validity of Qiyas discussed to this extent

It’s getting pretty shameful how some people are employing scammer like and/or sleazy business tactics, in order to create an artificial need, and/or market around their Deen-related product or service (that they’re selling). For example, some people start answering very simple questions, in a “controversial/edgy” way, in order generate traffic and buzz to their page. Before they answer the question, they shamelessly plug their Deen related product/course that they’re selling. Similarly, some may spend months trying to artificially trash certain products or courses (maybe even justifiably so) — only to suddenly “have the solution,” for the low price of $/month.

This is not to say or argue that charging money for Deen related services is “Haram,” per se — rather, it’s to emphatically say that such approach is not the Manhaj of the Messengers or Prophets عليهم الصلاة والسلام, and those who are propped up (or prop themselves up), are held to a much higher standard than us laymen.

This is a Manhaj in which many have sacrificed for, some more than others obviously — but one thing it is not, is a niche “market” for you to exploit and profit off of monetarily (with relation to the teaching the Deen).

Further, you are judged by what you’re DOING (present tense), not what you’ve done or stances you’ve taken (past tense). How many brothers who preceded many of us in Goodness and Effort, only to experience hardship and then spew idiocy and misguidance afterwards, may Allah return them to their upstanding ways, and make us and keep us firm upon Tawheed, and the correct methodology in all affairs of this Pure Deen.

Ameen.
