Sometimes I go through periods where I need to take a step back and process life events. I’m currently re-engaging online, catching up on what’s been occurring as the world moved on around me. I thought I would share some posts that have a made me smile and remember what I enjoy about being involved.

πŸŽ‰ Many, many congratulations to Lord Wolfshield on his wolf-cub!! I can’t wait to meet the Little Lordling in a few weeks and give mama a big hug.
🎲 This post was a such a sweet, feel-good story, which I can always use more of. Also, I loved her earlier post on game-schooling – we do board games and card games once a week with my younger kids, too, as it’s definitely the most engaging way to get my kids excited about numbers.
🌷 This crochet tulip was adorable and I may need the pattern. I have daughter that would love for me to make her one!
πŸͺ‘ I can always use more cozy crafting posts in my life. Beautiful work, friend.
🐰 Loving the homesteading inspiration.
πŸ”₯ What Mandi is able to do with a woodburning pen is 🀯. So much talent.
🏍 Based childhood ASMR indeed.
🌺 This picture was beautiful, but the message was more so and one I needed reminding of lately.

2 years ago the future in my head looked drastically different from what it looks like now. Unfathomable loss, grief, and a baby later (though not in that order) I'm still working to pick up the pieces and build a life for my daughter and I.

I'm learning to appreciate the little things and all of the things I'm blessed to have rather than focus on what I don't have.

Grief isn't a straight road when it comes to healing and all you can do is take things day by day, step by step, and try to focus on the beautiful things that life has to offer. β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

This piece is getting there, folks! This is the last update I'll be sharing before the final reveal. ⚑️

I still have to add the lightning to the other side, and clean some things up before adding some gold and copper leaf as well. ✨

I've recently sold out of the 8x10 "Maternal Spring" prints! Thank you all so much for your support. I will be ordering more to have available in the coming weeks.

A few people have asked me if I plan on selling the original "Maternal Spring" and the original "Lorelei" and the answer is yes!

I have submitted a few of my works to be shown in local gallery exhibits this summer and fall and am waiting to hear back. If they get accepted, then they will be available for purchase after the exhibits are over. ✨

With over 30 hours of work, "Thor's Song" is finally finished! This piece is inspired by the Oseberg ship found in a museum in Norway as well as Thor's battle with the world serpent, Jormungandr.

The Viking ship represents mankind getting caught in the crossfires of a never ending battle between good and evil, getting pushed and pulled with the ebbs and flows of the stormy waves and the strong ocean current.

Although it's being circled by Jormungandr, the ship is protected by Thor, God of thunder and lightning. This protection keeps the ship safe as it voyages to far away lands surviving seemingly impossible conditions and overcoming difficult odds. ⚑️

The new collection is honestly pretty eclectic. Some of it fits into En KΔ“pois, and some of it doesn't. I'm sort of thinking I want to release it all, and just add little bits to it as we move through the summer! These are all pieces that have spoken very loudly too me, and I cannot wait to get them out into the world!

What do we think about... Monday? Maybe? 19th May sound good to everyone?
