Starbase This Week (2025.07.13)
It appears things are beginning to happen quickly again.
Production Site & Sanchez
This week has been very busy at the production site with work on the Gigabay piling continuing to move forward and the brand new - and rather big - booster V3 transfer tube! And yes, it’s just a transfer tube.

Some future ships also received some hardware this week with S39 getting its fwd aerocovers. Also S40 has been getting its tile pins installed, which isa new design compared to block 2 ships. S42 and 43 are also progressing through the production line with S42’s CMN section spotted - likely means S39-41 CMN sections also exist - and S43’s LOX header being spotted.

There is engine bay work ongoing on S38 preparing for its cryogenic proof testing, and along with that Ship 37 received the remainder of its engines with 3 more Rvacs and 2 sea levels being rolled out. Strangely that adds the total number of Rvacs up to 4 as the first one was rolled in just before Ship 36 blew up at Massey’s; which means we could have missed the last Sea Level while it was rolling towards Megabay 2, who knows?

Launch Site
The Launch site has been preparing for the upcoming S37 static fire with Pad A getting most of the attention. First off Cryo pipes are installed on the BQD’s new structure to retrofit it for a ship static fire; which will supply CH4 and LOX to S37. and cladding has been installed onto the Ship Transport Stand to protect it from the flames.

Massey’s
This week at Massey’s has been… cleaning duties as S36 debris continues to be removed from the site. As well as most - if not all - the CH4 tank farm at massey’s being removed to make room for replacement tanks; and a possible rework on the methane tank farm.

LC39A
Last but not least the workers at the cape are moving quickly installing the steel plates on the top of the OLM, while concrete walls are being delivered for the flame trench at LC-39A.
