Dogues (LOSC Lille) are today the main crew on the North Terrace.
There are different groups that make the Dogues like “Dogues d’honneur”, “Dogues du net”, Doggies etc. They have a frienship since 1994 with “BSN 85” from OGC Nice and keep strong still today.

Generally they have also other crews that are on other terraces at the stadium “Pierre-Mauroy” but the main support is coming from the North.
The clubs last title was won in 2011 when they were led by Rudy Garcia. Ultras, hooligans and supporters in France are fighting against a big repression from the goverment ant the police for more than a decade now so thats why you can often see that some crews dissapear after few years or unite into new ones.
Olympique Lyonnais is a club from the city of Lyon. The club was formed in 1899 but generally got nationally established in 1950.

The club’s nickname is “Les Gones” which means “The Kids” but the main supporter, ultras and hooligan crew is “Bad Gones” which means “Bad Kids” and their terrace is on the North side of “Groupama” stadium.
Bad Gones got established in 1987 and they possess big numbers of members since they are on of the three clubs with biggest achievments in France. There are also other groups like “Cosa Nostra Lyon” which was formed in 2007 by merging two groups - “Lugdunums” and “Nucleo Ultra”. Their stand is “Virage Sud” which means the South side. Their biggest rivalry is with AS Saint-Étienne and their derby is called “Derby Rhône-Alpes” which means the derby of the area where the cities are.

The rivalry started in the 1960’s when Lyon became standard member of Ligue 1 and their city was representing upper-class people while Saint-Étienne was more working-class. They have also rivalry with Olympique Marseille, PSG, Bordeaux and Lille. When they play derby against Marseille its called ”The clash of the Olympics”. There are many more groups like ”Hex@gones”, ”Brigade Lyon”, ”Lyon 1950” etc.
On the South terrace of Lyon’s home are various groups under the name “Kop Virage Sud”.

There are Cosa Nostra, Lyon 1950, Section Mezza etc. All the groups were before far-right and some of them are still today. All these groups had good away games through Europe in good numbers and fights escpecially in the 2000’s when they were champions of France many times.
There was a good fight with Besiktas (Turkey) but also with Marseille in 2013 and recent in 2020 when they met up in a small street and fought for a good while. French fighting style is similar to English but Lyon has also crews who practice various sports and prefer to fight with their fists only.

Lyon Ultras have good friendship with Ultras Sur (Real Madrid) and Ultras of LKS Lodz (Poland) but also some smaller personal contacts with Espanyol, Anderlecht and Utrecht. Friendships with Real, Espanyol and LKS Lodz are made by the far-right groups.
Commando Ultra are supporters of Olympique de Marseille.
It’s established in 1899 and the nicknames of the club are “The Olympics” or “The Phoceans”. They play on the stadium “Stade Vélodrome”.
The supporter group is founded in 1984 by young lads who still today own a special and unique culture for supporting their team.

Earlier they were called “Kop Virage Nord” and “Quart Virage” but everything changed in 1984-1987 when “CU84”, “South Winners” and “Yankee” came to the terraces of Marseille.

That is the first Ultra group in France and from the start they wanted to put in peoples head a clean Ultra-mentality. Never take money from the club but pay for your own banners, drums, away-trips etc. The difference with Marseille and almost all other French clubs is that their club is highly supported by people who live outside of the city.

They have even sections in Belgium, Switzerland and smaller numbers in Paris! Some other crews are also “Fanatics”, “Dodgers”, “Marseille Trop Puissant” and few more. Most of the groups are on the North terrace while CU84 is on the South side. One of the motos of Commando Ultra is “Wet the jersey!” and they also possess banners with this message.
One of the famous supporter groups for their passion is Commando Ultra of Olympique de Marseille.

For sure the biggest ultra-culture in the country is possesed by them. Marseille is the second biggest city of France and the capital of the Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur region. Their man rivals are PSG, Monaco and Lyon.
The derby between OM and PSG is called ”Le Classique” which means ”The Classic”, same like ”El Classico” derby in Spain. There sre many fights to remember against PSG and Lyon but also with other French clubs and no less Europe-wide since they travel often. They have high connections with left-wing organisations and ideas for decades since they also are a very multi-cultural city.

Because of the left-wing activities they have a good friendship with AEK Athens (Greece), Livorno and Sampdoria (Italy). But also some more personal contact with St. Pauli from Germany. hampions League trip to Naples was just one incident where violence dominated the headlines of a match involving OM as fans of both clubs clashed with police. On that occasion, a number of supporters were left injured, but the scale of that episode was nothing in comparison to recent confrontations with fierce domestic rivals PSG.
