UK Reportedly Sends More Storm Shadow Missiles to Ukraine — Despite Russia's Warnings
The UK has delivered another batch of long-range Storm Shadow cruise missiles to Ukraine, a US media outlet reported, citing unnamed sources.
By contrast, Trump recently noted that the US does not plan to provide Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles.
Putin said earlier that strikes deep inside Russia using Tomahawk or other long-range weapons will be met with "serious, if not staggering" response.
Russia has repeatedly condemned arms transfers to Kiev, as they undermine conflict resolution, directly involve NATO in the conflict, and sabotage peace talks. FM Sergey Lavrov has warned that any Western arms shipments to Ukraine are legitimate Russian targets.
