Can you imagine I have translated a poem☺️
We are going to hold a performance on Mother's Day at our school.
I got a poetic script in a Russian language and translated it into English.

I think it went pretty well 😃

A joking poem for the 8th of March:

(An author appears on the stage.)

Author: Our kids are so stubborn.
I guess everyone knows it well.
They won't listen to you often.
Even a hundred times you yell.

One day Betsy came from walk,
And she got her doll to talk:

(Betsy comes, sits on the chair, picks her doll up from under the chair by talking to the doll.)

Betsy: Well, my daughter, how are you?
You're still there, under the chair?
Oh, I see you got the flu.
Ah, no, no. It seems to me so.
What a trouble you're my girl!
The only thing you do is twirl!
Right now, you should eat your food.
And, then, I'll raise your mood.

Author: Betsy's mom has arrived from work and asked Betsy:

(Mom comes and sits on the chair and starts talking to her daughter who is twirling around):

Mom: Well, my daughter, how are you?
Are you still hungry?
Your face is blue!😱
Thousand times I make you eat,
Please, take a load off your feet.
What a trouble you're my girl!
The only thing you do is twirl!
Right now, you should eat your food.
And, then, I'll raise your mood.

(Mom sits her daughter on the chair and starts to feed her.)

Author: Here, grandma- mother's mother, walks in, and asks her daughter-mom:

(Grandma comes in knocking her stick on the floor)

Grandma: Well, my daughter, how are you?
Again, you worked all day, true?
And you hadn't a minute to eat.
Please, take a load off your feet.
What a trouble you're my girl!
The only thing you do is twirl!
Right now, you should eat your food.
And, then, I'll raise your mood.

(Grandma sits her daughter -mom who was walking around her little daughter and puts food in front of her. )

Author: The three mothers sit in the dining room.
The three mothers look at their daughters.
What stubborn daughters they have!))

Three mothers: It's such hard work to be a mom.
