If you are committed to ongoing professional development, then, I would love to hear from you 😍

Hello, there! How are you doing, dear colleugues?
Currently I'm doing a CLIL Course. One of the tasks was to share the type of feedback I use. I prefer giving feedback using the sandwich approach.
🍞 Top slice – something positive:
Start with encouragement or highlight something that went well.
E.g.: "You did a great job!"
🥩 Filling – constructive feedback or suggestions for improvement:
Give specific, respectful, and useful ideas on what could be better.
E.g.: "I would rather use the word _ instead of _."
“One thing to work on is…”
“Next time when you do ___, try to avoid/add/change…”
“It’s better to say/use ___ in this case.”
🍞 Bottom slice – another positive note or hopeful message:
End on an uplifting note to motivate further improvement.
E.g.: "Keep it up! These changes will surely make your work even stronger."
In my own classroom, especially with younger learners, I like to add warm encouragements such as:
“I love you! YOU are amazing! YOU are fantastic!”
