We are seeking an experienced DevOps Lead with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support our engineering teams. As a key technical leader, you will drive best practices in automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), GitOps, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
● Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, Azure, GCP, or other cloud platforms.
● Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads to ensure high performance and reliability.
● Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
● Champion GitOps methodologies to streamline infrastructure management and deployments.
● Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software delivery.
● Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog.
● Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure DevOps best practices are integrated throughout the development lifecycle.
● Drive automation efforts to reduce manual operational work and improve system reliability.
● Ensure security best practices are followed in infrastructure, deployments, and access management.
● Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, improving system reliability and response times.
● Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior DevOps engineers and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
● 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering roles.
● Expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
● Strong understanding of containerization (Docker, Podman, etc.) and orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.).
● Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
● Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or Flux.
● Solid understanding of GitOps principles and declarative infrastructure management.
● Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
● Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go for automation and infrastructure management.
● Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and cloud-native architectures.
● Experience in managing production-grade Kubernetes clusters and troubleshooting complex distributed systems.
● Familiarity with database management and scaling strategies.
Nice to Have
● Experience with serverless architectures and cloud-native services.
● Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd, etc.).
● Hands-on experience with FinOps and optimizing cloud costs.
● Previous experience in regulated environments (e.g., fintech, healthcare, banking).
