There are many cloud services to select from; each has its own features and costs. Telegram has embraced this functionality in a unique way. The fact that Telegram allows users to create and install their custom theme makes using the service a joy. This is one of my favorite Telegram Messenger tricks. Basically, you can customize your Telegram app to look however you want it to. To create your own theme go to Settings->Chat Settings ->Theme and tap on “Create New Theme”. Here, first add a custom Name of your Theme and then tap OK. Hopefully, I have listed enough Telegram features to help you understand why the Telegram app is so popular and secure.

As mentioned above, the use of usernames instead of phone numbers means your account isn’t tied to just one phone. This makes it easier to log in on other devices, allows you to have multiple accounts on the same device, and makes it so you don’t have to share your phone number with someone to add them as a contact in Telegram. After a message is received, it remains in the chat for a predetermined period — you can choose times between one second and one week – before disappearing.

To get going, open the Telegram app on your device. Then, head over to a chat and tap on the name of the chat at the top. Telegram is a multi-platform messaging service founded by Russian entrepreneur Pavel Durov, although it was temporarily banned in Russia and has no affiliation with any government or company. It first rolled out on iOS and Android in late 2013, and now has an estimated 550 million monthly users. Telegram’s user base tends to increase whenever a privacy scandal hits one of its larger competitors. Telegram has an upload limit of 2 GB per single file. It was one of the most valuable Telegram features I mostly loved.
