Some advice for content creators.

Do not be overly concerned with the number of likes you get on a post.

Not all likes are equal.

If you only chase likes, you will end up slopmaxxing, which will reduce the overall quality of your content.

Look at the posts in the pictures. One is nice and one is bordering on slop (don't get me wrong, the message in the slop post is important, but if you do too many of these posts, you will attract the wrong kind of audience).

I appreciate the 49 likes on the book post more than the 4000 likes on the other post.

The 49 people who liked the book post will probably listen to my upcoming podcast episode about India during the Cold War.

The 4000 people who liked the other post will probably not engage with my content in any deeper way.
