It’s been a long day but I wanted to share this.

June 6, 1944 — D-Day.

On this day 81 years ago, brave American soldiers — and our Allied brothers — charged the beaches of Normandy, staring down evil and tyranny with unshakable courage.

They didn’t ask what was in it for them. They didn’t wait for someone else to step up. They went. They bled. And many never came home — so we could live free.

That kind of sacrifice should never be forgotten. It should never be taken for granted.

We honor their memory, their mission, and their unmatched courage. May we live in a way that proves we were worth their sacrifice.

Freedom isn’t free — and the heroes of D-Day proved that with everything they had.
