In the interview, Danko said, "I learn a lot from V's sophisticated performances and rich expressions, so I dream of performing with him someday. I listen to one song every day, and I focus all my senses on one BTS song. I get courage from BTS's music and stand on stage."
He also confessed, "I'm a fan of V, nicknamed 'TaeTae' among the BTS members, and I was drawn to him when I saw how V's face instantly changed from a cute smile to a cool expression in the 'DNA' music video." He added that Taehyung is the first hero he admires besides his grandfather. Danko's grandfather is a Japanese Intangible Cultural Property and is called a "revolutionary of kabuki."
He also shared an anecdote about his fandom. Danko said, "I asked my mother to buy me the same black shirt Taetae wore when he practiced 'DNA' dance for my birthday." He continued, "As a fan and a fellow artist, I study V's expressions, fashion, and hairstyle."
He also did not hide his respect for Taehyung’s stage presence and the amount of practice he puts into it. Danko commented, "V's delicate movements, where he pays close attention to every fingertip, show that he has practiced to the point of death before going on stage. The energy that comes from TaeTae's hands feels like a power that dominates the space. This will carry over into kabuki."
He also shared some personal stories. He said, "V is also my benefactor. When my grandfather passed away in September 2023, I was grieving and listening to V's solo album 'Layover.' I listened to it alone every day after my performance. His gentle voice comforted my heart. I want to tell Taetae thank you when I meet him."
