Prez Carters situation is seemingly getting worse, so let's take a moment to remember his deeds before he croaks

Children, by definition, are unable to consent to sexual activity. While it is true that each individual ages differently, there are no fully-objective and precise measurements of this, so why risk it with anyone below a certain age? Statutory rape is when one person knowingly engages in sex with someone who says they consent, but does so without fully understanding what consent is, and what the potential consequences of sex are. How could it make even tangible sense that children— who constantly get sick due to a lack of an understanding of hygiene; who fall down because it does not occur to them not to run on unstable ground or slippery floors; who get addicted to nicotine because their friends vape— can understand STDs, pregnancy and consent before a comprehensive education about these things? And can this be argued without:

— appeals to "nature" or
— appeals to (((authority)))?

Arguing that child labor is unethical follows the same logic. If a child does not understand the potential consequences of sex, or the many forms of manipulation nonces use to get sex from them, then they will not understand what worker exploitation or wage slavery is.
